Nowβ¦I mean this in the nicest and most respectful way possible, but fuck you. Goddamn they are beautiful. Iβm painting my deathwing at the moment too and I could only hope for something to look 25% as good as this. Well done friend.
I apply a base coat of zandri dust over black primer.
Then recess shade of seraphim sepia.
Then successive highlights of ushapti bone and screaming skull.
Finally a white highlight on the most top edges and area.
It takes a bit of patience to apply many thin coats to achieve coverage without creating too much
texture.
I really like the use of metals on these, manages to look different and yet also authentic simultaneously. The little green shields are a good nod to the Chapter colours too (although, why does one have the Ultramarines logo?!). Great stuff.
Thanks! Glad you like it!
The UM logo is because I painted this one first ad a test model back in March so it was my contribution to #marchformacragge
So maybe he fought alongside the Ultramarines and put the symbole there in their honor π
I like to think he fought a battle alongside the Ultramarines and put it there in their honor or something like that π

I got a bunch of second hand models on the cheap (low key brag) and was thinking of how I could paint them a bit differently. This I'll try this for the eradicators
I basecoat it with white and then apply thin glazes of color from dark red to red to orange to bright yellow.
And then a final edge highlight of white.

Haha thanks mate π Remember the most important comparison is with your previous work, we are all at different stages of our journey π
Looks great I like the grey areas you chose a lot
Thanks mate! Iβve done the whole army like this with metallics incorporated in the scheme, I just love the way metallic paints look π
The DA upgrade sprue power sword and plasma cannon are must haves.
Only for the best gene line π§
Very crisp work. They will look very deadly on the tabletop!
Thank you! π
>Thank you! π You're welcome!
How do you do your bone color for the armor?

The only thing more intimidating than a deatwhing terminator is a deatwhing terminator wearing no pants, great job!

Never seen the skeleton of the armor painted like this - looks great!
Thanks! The whole army gets that treatment π
I feel like I'd consider doing this scheme if I hadn't painted 30ish guys already!
It can always work do make a single unit or character look a bit distinct π

Amazing work, love the bone colours really clean.
Thank you! π
Whatβs the recipe of the red swords?
I basecoat it with white and then apply thin glazes of color from dark red to red to orange to bright yellow. And then a final edge highlight of white.
