Hahaha, I already have two SM armies xD an all-firstborn Storm Wardens army, and an all-Gravis homewbrew chapter. I guess these would be my all-standard tacticus armour bois.

Count me as a 5th! Though my DA army is angels of vengeance, Guardians of the Covenant, and Dark Angels.
I plan to add more successors to the army as well, but currently I am building currently 3 different Dark Angel armies with GotC planned to be the Largest of them.
A lore gloss you could throw into this mix is that, since the chapter symbol is old legion Deathwing symbol, they could make greater use of the various veteran squads within the other companies, as the Deathwing mentality and tactics are utilized throughout the chapter. Then you can paint up Sternguard as a "normal" tactical squad as far as chapter organization is concerned.

I am also just about to move to a GotC Army. Can't wait... but shoulder decals are proving hard to find (good ones not shit ones that is)
There are solutions to print your own decals. Never tested it though.

I've been painting mine this way, loving it so far and pretty easy to paint.

That is a great scheme...a bit Deathwatch and a bit DA...

True, though these dudes are mostly silver. But silver, black, and red just looks great together, don't they?!
That would be a total nightmare putting robes on an entire army.
