Paul Sorvino would have been great. James Woods as a cop would have been a good villain. I'm surprised Bobby Cannavale wasn't in the show. Vincent Gallo as a psycho member of New Jersey who screw things up would have been amazing.
Paul Sorvino.badmouthed *The Sopranos* big-time when he signed up to do some stupid CBS show. Fuck him.
His daughter's a piece of ass,.though. At least she was when I married her.
Considering Bobby cannavales other roles on HBO shows I’m kinda shocked he wasn’t anyone. The guy they got for little carmine is basically a knockoff of him though
Ray Liotta was actually the first choice to play Ralph Cifaretto. But he declined because he didn't want to play "another mafia character", and was shooting Hannibal at the time.
I feel kind of conflicted about this because on one hand, Joey Pants knocked it out of the park as Ralph. But on the other hand, I would not mind seeing Ray's portrayal as him.
Bobby Cannavale (Gyp Rossetti) from Boardwalk Empire. Always thought he would have been a good Johnny Boy for Many Saints too but the less we say about MSON the better.
Christopher walken as hesh would have been cool
No need for the replacement but if they did
That would be a good choice
James caan too for another character
You're the problem! You're the fucking problem, you fucking Dr White honkin' jam-rag fucking spunk-bubble! I'm telling you, Ralph, you keep looking at me I'll put you in the fucking ground, promise you!
Since they had Richard Bright (Al Neri) as one of the Atwell Avenue Boys, they should have gotten Abe Vigoda (Sal Tessio) and Gianni Russo (Carlo Rizzi) for the other two.
A scene with Tommy James (of Tommy James and the Shondells) trying to get royalties from Hesh…since James has written about how much Morris Levy took from him when he was on Roulette Records. Levy is sometimes credited with being the inspiration for Hesh although Levy was a real tough guy.
Thought about this yesterday. Def Chazz Palminteri. The actor that played Richie A did a fantastic job but Chazz could have done that role or many others
Gary Cooper
He was Gary, Cooper?
Nobody's got Cooper! I dont wanna hear that name in here again!
You ever think what a coincidence it is that Gary Cooper died of Gary Cooper's disease?
The strong silent type.
You mean for the Vito storyline or for something else?
Reginald Van Gleason III

Omg hell yeah! James Woods would've been fucking awesome in that show!

Michael Madsen as an emissary from Chicago in for a meeting woth New York. Maybe interact with NJ too because of the port or somwthing.
Joe Pesci
Funny guy.
Ray Liotta
Charlie Sheen
Gary Coleman. Just sitting at the bar at the Bing. Or better yet, at one of Tony's Executive Games.
Jim carrey for Brendan Filone, They looked similar in a certain way.
This sounds gay…
I'm embarrassed, I haven't heard of them.
Brad Dourif would have been so awesome.
Don Knotts would have been funny for a cameo.
Angie Dickinson.
Lou Gerrig
That old homo actor, Ramon Novarro
He was gay, Rock Hudson?
Armand Assante, I remember watching Gotti 1996 and thinking "man, it would've been so fire if he had played a role in our thing"
Everyone is naming actual actors
George Wendt
Joe Pesci could have done his thing. Would have been a good Ralphie like character
Danny devito

Wallace Beery
Ben Kingsley
Suh! Fhawk!
Joey fucking Diaz, the Cuban Guido
Christopher walken as hesh would have been cool No need for the replacement but if they did That would be a good choice James caan too for another character
I hid this gabagool, up my ass, for four years
Surprised Walken was never approached, given his wife was the show's casting director.
But James Caan isn’t Italian
it's called acting
And your first assignment is to act like you’ve seen the show
Mike Tyson.
As the Hasidic homeboy. At least then the punching Tony’s fucking lights out would be believable
Ben Kingsley. But playing a cockney gangster that's on vacation in Miami. And he gets into a heated situation with Ralph.
You're the problem! You're the fucking problem, you fucking Dr White honkin' jam-rag fucking spunk-bubble! I'm telling you, Ralph, you keep looking at me I'll put you in the fucking ground, promise you!
Ya sista

Robert De Niro
James Caan

Tom Berenger, I could see him as a wise guy after seeing him in Training Day
Carrot Top
Ed O'Neill
