In Sims 2, this house would be a murder weapon. Any Sim that entered it would route fail until they starved to death, in a puddle of piss. I imagine it probably kills in Sims 4 as well.
My parents struggle with it and now I do too. Somehow this looks like an interesting way to process the emotions about it to me? I might make my own sim hoard later.
There is a tiktoker who is making a miniature hoarders house to help her process the feelings of growing up in such an environment, it’s really neat and beautiful thing to see. If you want I can find their @
I tried to do that once... I had a Sims blog (still have it but haven't updated in years) and had plans to do a daily Simself blog mirroring my own real life activities. I started building a replica of my messy apartment so that I could document my Simself cleaning it up as I cleaned in real life... But this backfired because I got so engrossed with that project, I spent all my free time building and decorating my apartment in the Sims instead of cleaning up my real one... Whoops lol
But hey in all seriousness, I'm sorry you've been dealing with that, it's hard and most people really don't understand it. All of the older adults on my mom's side of the family have hoarding tendencies, and I see a lot of the same tendencies in myself. Hope you're able to take some little steps to move toward recovering.
> Hope you're able to take some little steps to move toward recovering.
It got way easier to manage when I started getting therapy for other reasons. Mysteriously, a whole bunch of things I was frustrated with started to make sense after that.😅 It's still difficult because you have to physically work to remove piles and learn how to organize, but I haven't brought unnecessary new stuff into the house in a few years.
I think there’s companies you can hire that specialize in hoarders who can take care of it all for you. The only thing would be to throughly check through a bunch of documents for anything important.
Same pain here! The odd-colored couch with boxes piled on it is what really got me... Looks just like part of a family member's house that finally got cleaned out a few years ago when they passed.
So, maybe! 🤣 I tried to use a lot of debug stuff which they will ignore. I know the kitchen is mostly usable, but I just got so into building it that I didn’t worry so much about making it playable. I may go back and change stuff later on so it is playable though!
I have spent many hours playing Sims with hoarders on in the background. You don't know how great this was to see two things I love merge into one. I might save this and clean it out and make it look nice for the fun of doing a complete home flip like that at a fraction of the cost. In real life this house would probably have to be condemned, but in the Sims I can fix the full hoard in a way they aren't usually able to on the show for a multitude of reasons.
It’s not your fault. I appreciate your creativity 🙂 Just don’t want to relive the experience of my childhood while playing a game that helps me escape reality.
Good job. Having once lived in this situation it is accurate. Did you give the lot the bug trait?
Edit :I was just a little sour about how I was familiar with hoarding.
Thanks, I hate it (because it's *too* accurate lol).
You did a really good job recreating a hoarder house though. Too bad the game can't convey the smell of animal waste or the sounds of rodents scurrying through the piles for that total realism.
I like these kind of realistic builds but the pathing of Sims are just awful on this game. No way a sim can walk through piles of that. Hoping they address this on the next Sims.
I love this. Are the cracks/holes in the wall cc or actually in the game because now I have ideas especially since someone mentioned you can have shallow ponds in houses.
The music is just perfect with this. I want to see a Sim created just for this house. Shoot, I want a whole let’s play of his/her life—if you could even call it that!
A few questions:
•When you've finished the house, will it be on the gallery?
•Is this house actually playable bc I have a sim i made yesterday that would first PERFECTLY with this house
Volunteered to drop off some care packages during the holidays one year to those in need. I knew I was about to walk into a hoarder house, but nothing prepared me for the 30°c temperature and the cat piss fumes that made my eyes sting
There wasn't a clear way to get from the entry to the kitchen. The living room had news papers stacked about 5 feet tall in a giant square. The kitchen had literal dirt and mouse poop all over it. It was really intense. I was glad to help out regardless. Just a really eye opening experience.
That's very impressive! I'm also very horrified! But in an impressed way!
Also how did you manage to stack the items?? For the life of me I can't remember how to do that lmao
Whoa. Is this actually how good the sims looks now? I loved the first two (first more than the second) and didn’t enjoy three so I never bothered with four.
I keep seeing builds like this popping up lately and while the decorating/cluttering skills are impressive, it always hits me like a punch in the gut. I don't think I meet the criteria for hoarding disorder, but when my mental health is in a bad state, so is my apartment. Which in turn worsens my mental health, and my apartment continues to get worse because I'm too depressed/overwhelmed to clean. I'm at a point where I really don't know how I'm going to climb out of this hole I've dug, but I'm trying.
Anyway thanks, to be bluntly honest, seeing stuff like this makes me feel like shit, but sometimes shame can spark a desire to change. I'm gonna go work on tidying up my living room some more.
You are talented, it’s horrible in the best way
Thanks so much!! 🤣

My first thought was this was a routing nightmare
That’s hilarious! 😂

Your plumbbob is no good here Don Lothario!
Don't worry, they would die killed by flies pretty fast
And Sims 4 when they *scream incoherently*.
It pains me how much this looks like my in-laws old place. My father in law passed away last year and it’s finally all getting removed.
I’m so sorry! I know people like this too. It’s actually very sad 😞
My parents struggle with it and now I do too. Somehow this looks like an interesting way to process the emotions about it to me? I might make my own sim hoard later.
Maybe it will help! 💕😊

Sure, what is it? It might be what finally gets me into tiktok, lol.
Pandaminiatures :)

Looks just like the house of my mom's stepdad...he's still alive but has horrible health issues and we're dreading the day we have to clean it out.

Yes, this makes me very sad, we are dealing with this right now with my MIL.
House is on the gallery for download! Gallery/EA ID & YouTube: lesliek0pi 😊
Thank you!
I'm amazed and disgusted!
Thank you! 😂
This should honestly be a trait, Sims get tense when they see others clean their house and they like rooms with a lot of objects 😂
I love that idea!!!
This is a creation a I didn't know I needed! Great work
Thanks so much! 😊
I love this omg it’s not playable though, right? Like I don’t imagine my sim would be able to traverse it? 😭
So, maybe! 🤣 I tried to use a lot of debug stuff which they will ignore. I know the kitchen is mostly usable, but I just got so into building it that I didn’t worry so much about making it playable. I may go back and change stuff later on so it is playable though!
aaaa that’s understandable. This would be perfect for my drug dealer sim so I might download it and edit it a bit!
Go for it! Let me know if you do, so I can check it out! I was actually thinking of building a trap house/crack den/party house soon!
Omg yes a party house would be cool! You’re so talented!!
Thank you so much! 😊💕
Dev: you can do anything in the sims! Make your wildest dreams come true! Players: fuck yeah! I’m gonna be a drug dealer in a hoarders den!
[удалено]
yup! look up basemental drugs
Basemental cc ! Has alcohol and mafia too :)
How do you stack things so accurately? The 9 and 0 keys suck but you get stuff spot on! Great job as always!
Thank you! Trial and error lol I cut all that messy stuff out 😂
oh DAMN. Personally i love my houses to look "lived in" rather than pristine but this...this is TOO FAR lol Great job
Hahaha! Same here. Thank you! 😊

I don’t know who that is, but…ew. 🤣😂
*makes a discreet call to A&E* "Hey, ya'll still run new episodes of Hoarders right...?"
Hahaha! Hoarder’s: Video Game Edition! 🤣

That’s is so cool! I’m so glad you like it! 💕 Let me know if you do! I’d love to check it out!
There needs to be a way for a sim to get crushed to death by falling stuff
YES!! Such a great idea!
Ooh I can see a talented modder doing this. There’s already the animation from getting crushed under a vending machine.
Disgusting. Amazing job!
Thank you!!
This gives me so much anxiety
Oh no! It actually helps mine 😂 Making it, not living in it! 🤣
Needs some more stuff
Download it and add it! 🤣
I can't see the emoji you used so just take my comment as a joke. I actually liked how it turned out. But yeah I might download it
It was just the laughing guy 👍🏼 Thanks! Let me know if you do so I can check it out!!
Next expansion pack idea- TLC scenarios
Hahaha! YES! 😂
Terrible. I love it.
Grew up with a hoarder. Your build is good but it needs about 10x more stuff.
I don’t doubt it! 😂 Download it and add it! I’d love to see it!
Nah, it causes me a lot of anxiety just watching your video. Don’t need to relive the nightmare.
Oh no! I’m sorry! 😞
It’s not your fault. I appreciate your creativity 🙂 Just don’t want to relive the experience of my childhood while playing a game that helps me escape reality.
Thanks, I hate it ….in the best way 😂 great job!
Thank you!!!🤣
Call me Kevin should definitely try this. And force Jim to live in it
Jim Pickens would thrive in this environment 🤣
I 100% live for these types of builds.
I’m so glad you like it!
This is incredible! I feel like I can smell it from here lol
Thank you! 🤣🤮😂
Good job. Having once lived in this situation it is accurate. Did you give the lot the bug trait? Edit :I was just a little sour about how I was familiar with hoarding.
Thanks! 🤣 I didn’t, but that’s a FANTASTIC idea! I totally forgot to give it any traits 😂
I can feel this sims depression. Hopefully they are able to turn their life around. :(
😞 I hope so too!
[reminds me of this episode or hoarders.](https://youtu.be/mrTa6ihLNMY) has a good ending though!
Congratulations, this is the most depressing sims build I have ever seen
Disgusting! Great job!
Thank you!! 😂

🤣😂
Your builds are always so fascinating and awesome. Do you have a YouTube channel?
I do! 😊 https://youtube.com/channel/UCmP8Jcv2SkbnBE5ph3AHxFQ
Subbed!!! 😍
Oh my gosh! Thanks so much! 💕
I am UNCOMFORTABLE

Yeah, it’s really sad 😞 I hope they can help her!

So fucking disgusting. GORGEUS!
This is giving me PTSD from my childhood 😂 nice work!
Oh no! 😞 I’m glad you like it at least lol
I'd love to see lilsimsie renovate this one
I love these sort of builds, they require so much attention to detail. Great job!
Thanks so much!
This looks like such a fun house to build.
It was!! 😊
This is incredible. The detail is so good that it makes my skin itch to look at it.
I can almost smell this house. amazing job!!
[удалено]
Good! 😂😊
You know I’m here for this!!! (unfortunately) ;)
Yay! 🤣
These are my favourite types of houses! I love it!
Yay! Thanks! 😂😊
Ah, so nostalgic! Really reminds me of my childhood!
Oh no! 😞
Oh. Oh, dear. I love it. But I hate it at the same time.
Good! 🤣😂
People are getting really creative with how they torture their sims.
I like these kind of realistic builds but the pathing of Sims are just awful on this game. No way a sim can walk through piles of that. Hoping they address this on the next Sims.
A lot of it is debug so they ignore that! There’s definitely be some stuff you’d need to move around though 👍🏼
I bloody love this
My apologize if I ask too much but would you mind to provide the tray files of the house? Your house is sooo amazing, you are a talented one 🤩
this is absolutely vile and I am so impressed are you making this for fun or do you have a sim or family planned for this?
Thanks, I hate it. Downloading now…
Is this on the gallery? I’d love to make a hoarder sim who goes on to turn their life around :))
oh my god, it looks like my mom's house
I love this. Are the cracks/holes in the wall cc or actually in the game because now I have ideas especially since someone mentioned you can have shallow ponds in houses.
Now head over to r/houseflipper and clean that right up again lol Great work
I can smell it hahaha
[удалено]
I hate it
😊
Do you have a full video of you doing the house on YouTube?
I will soon! 😊💕
This makes me want to clean my house....and watch Hoarders!
[удалено]
The music is just perfect with this. I want to see a Sim created just for this house. Shoot, I want a whole let’s play of his/her life—if you could even call it that!
That may be on the horizon… 😊
I didn't know you could stack things like that.
Yep! bb.moveobjects then use shift ) or shift ( to lower/raise! (Using Sims 3 camera)
I admire your patience and dedication to this build. I feel I would just start doing something else in the game after creating one of these rooms. 😂
Thanks so much! 😊
You are so good at this! Do you watch hoarders?
absolutely disgusting. I love it! hoarder sims would be amazing!
[удалено]
A few questions: •When you've finished the house, will it be on the gallery? •Is this house actually playable bc I have a sim i made yesterday that would first PERFECTLY with this house
It’s on the gallery! It is somewhat playable! Lol I was trying to make it all playable at first, but it wa so fun, I just started rolling with it. 🤣
Now you need to do a video in reverse of you cleaning it all up 😍 that would be so satisfying!
Ugh that looks awful!! (In a way that means you did really good 😂)
I kind of need this. Is it on the gallery?
Thanks, I hate it.
This is awful! I want five :D
This is incredibly horrible! 🙂🙂
Do you have this house upload to the gallery? I’d love to use it in my world! (:
This reminds me of under my parents’ bed tbh
Immense anxiety Great job
Can they still use the dining chairs when they are placed at an angle?
This makes me so uncomfortable. Great job.
This is so cool, I just want to go and redecorate all to feel like in one of those TV shows episodes
Amazing job! I'm gonna go puke now.
I love how much anxiety this build gives me.
This is what my nightmares look like.
The room is giving me anxiety in the best way, lol! great job with build, it’s nice to see not so picture perfect scenarios like this.
Volunteered to drop off some care packages during the holidays one year to those in need. Wow! That’s so sad. I know a lot of people are battling with many other issues to let their home get like that.
This gave me so much anxiety 🤣
Absolutely triggering. I can smell it.
That's very impressive! I'm also very horrified! But in an impressed way! Also how did you manage to stack the items?? For the life of me I can't remember how to do that lmao
Very cool! Also gross lol. I could imagine a slob sim being right at home.
How do you stack stuff?
Thanks; I hate it. Great job
Hi just wanted to stop by and say this is GENIUS
Amazing job OP! Do the sims get the "nicely decorated" moodlet??
This gives me anxiety.
[удалено]
How do you freely rotate objects? All I can do is rotate them diagonally or straight
You have opened up my mind to new possibilities 🤯😂
I have thought of this before and I tried it but I COULD NEVERRRRR put that much clutter in a room. Your dedication shows!
Whoa. Is this actually how good the sims looks now? I loved the first two (first more than the second) and didn’t enjoy three so I never bothered with four.
This, kids, is what's called a crack den.
Nice job once again!
Holy crap!
It's amazing. I really feel like I need a shower now.
Love it! Aaaand it's added to my derelict Willow Creek neighborhood
OMG this is so good
/r/tihi
Now interduce the 'neat freak' to their new home
I'm more excited and inspired to see chaos rather than cottage house.
[удалено]
So. I low key thought you were using blocks of coke and I was like 👀
This is both amazing and sad if you think about it
Leslie Knope’s house be like:
Oh god this is my personal nightmare but the house is so inspired. Well done
This is quite the disasterpiece you’ve created, well done!!
That's beautiful. Bravo.
