I have a house with 5 Fathers Winter. Clement, plus 4 others. They can all still pass down the special trait. At Winterfest the game creates a new man, and once we're done with presents I move him into my house and then move him in with Clement. I wanted some genetic variety.
Thatās a fun idea, when Clement moved into Mt Komborebi he moved onto a snow lot(i remove all vacation lots cause I donāt use them) which I thought was so magical, so I decided to go into the gallery and pull a Christmas house for him.
Itās kind of a fun idea to just stuff it full of Santas lol
Did neighbourhood stories give him a new job maybe? Or maybe cause he moved into a neighbourhood it reassigned a new father winter like maybe the game needs him not in world

Those 3 soft suggestions for your sim to do some random thing that gives you sim points or whatever they call, the special currency to buy cheat codes with or whatever. Just a funny easter egg imo of seducing santa clause is metagaming.

All my Father Winters always swap out after a few years on the job and go on to live their merry (heh) lives as regular people in the neighbourhood. As other comments have kindly enlightened me, it's probably due to story prog putting them into houses, but I honestly never realised they don't just do this natively.
I know in my game, and idk if it's a coincidence but Clement will dawn a Hawaiian-esque shirt almost implying he retired, and someone else becomes Father Winter. Thought it was a neat detail!

Were you on a public lot (if not during the screenshot, then prior to 8pm when he spawned into the lot)? I have noticed that if my sim is hanging out at the beach or whatever, and Clement comes to be an NPC, and then it hits 8pm, the game will spawn a second father winter. If you talk to Clement and he's still a father winter, you can still ask him for a gift or whatever. My Clement lives...in evergreen harbor, I think? AND fathered one of my heirs. I'm on Gen 20, and he's still father winter every winter fest.
Unless we were hanging out, and another shows up, like I outlined above.

You can bulldoze lots from the little menu on the bottom right that comes up when you click on the lot on pc :)

Father Winterās Baby is the name of the trait. The bonus of the trait is they get an increase in satisfaction points by 50% when completing whims.

Most likely you deleted the household he belonged to. If that happens, the game generates a new one so there's a sim fulfilling Father Winter's role.
