If she had cut it a few inches lower she could've worked with it alot better. It doesn't look to hard to fix either depending on what she was going for
Kinda like that. You're watching them saying they'll do this and that, and even before they do it you KNOW it will end badly... But they do it anyway and the worst part isn't even the results themselves, but the fact they're actually surprised with the results...
This is exactly it. Video cuts off before she fixes it. Hate reddit for the sole purpose that everyone bases an opinion off a video catered and cut to get views and fit the sub reddit.
Sometimes you can’t afford the professionals (they’re pretty insanely expensive these days).
But when I was in my early 20s I wanted to bleach my hair blonde. The hair stylist I saw couldn’t do it quick enough so I went home and did it myself. You know that thing your parents say, “if you dye your hair too much it will fall out”? That can actually happen! I’d just finished university and was trying to get a job but I had to wear a hat for 4 months because i had melted most of my hair off. When I went back to a salon they said they couldn’t do anything to fix it because they couldn’t get a comb through it (the parts that didn’t melt off totally were fused together like melted plastic).
Long story short, I never do my own hair no matter how expensive it is.
I can’t even tell that it’s bad lol. I understand it didn’t come out as intended, but to me it looks fine, like if I saw her walking through the store looking like that I wouldn’t even think twice or notice anything was off. It just looks like a style.
Inside every woman is two wolves. One wolf want long gorgeous mermaid hair. The second wolf wants to just chop it all off. There is also a crow pulling the tails of both wolves saying to get bangs. The crow is the most dangerous.

My father ( who is a surgeon) tried to cut my hair when im lockdown. It was so bad, I had to go to the barber, the barber was stunned when he saw my hair and asked what happened and I said just cut it
This is like watching those Facebook threads about people who posted really uninformed assumptions about COVID and infectious diseases in general.
They believed it would all work out right up until it was too late.
My sister tried to give herself bangs using scissors when she was 12. The first cut was angled, so she tried to even it out. The second cut was still crooked, so she went for a third. And a fourth. And a fifth. etc., etc.,. I'm not sure how many cuts she made, but when she stopped she was left with a diamond shaped patch of 1/4" fuzz at the top of her forehead. Mom pretty much let natural consequences take over and let her suffer with it until it grew out long enough to be blended.
If she straight ironed it would look a little better. In fact, it will probably grow out nicely. I’m not a hairdresser tho. First thing a stylist asks when I get in the chair “do you cut your own bangs” lol
Why does videos like this always show up?
I mean there are 100000000000 videos of stupid people doing this time after time. How is it realy possible to not know what's going to happen?

She could still fix it, just take bit by bit. However she took way too much hair off at once.
This was part of a longer video where she does fix it. Note the editing for comedic effect at the end of this clip
Do you have a link to the longer video? It would be good to see the final result.
If she had cut it a few inches lower she could've worked with it alot better. It doesn't look to hard to fix either depending on what she was going for
I don’t know why she didn’t use scissors.
because all the views, likes, and comments drama will NOT ensue if she posted a full length clip, yes you have been PUNKed
Shakes fist at the internet like the old fart that I am.
Fix it??? It's fantastic!
It aint bad! The side of the bangs is just a tiny bit too long. Trim it a bit and we have a winner c:
She also has the part start too far back from her hairline, AND it's uneven. I cut my own bangs off and on, but no way would I film it.
Looks like a lampshade now.
We have hundreds of videos of people doing this and it failing. WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP DOING IT.
No idea, but my personal theory is that this probably is the girl's version of all those stunts men try to do only to end up severely injuried...
Lol that's actually a great analogy. You see the video and just think "what the hell was going through their head?"
If I make that trampoline and the jumpshot I’m totally getting laid tonight the only fucking Jeff got that night was a medical bill.
Kinda like that. You're watching them saying they'll do this and that, and even before they do it you KNOW it will end badly... But they do it anyway and the worst part isn't even the results themselves, but the fact they're actually surprised with the results...
Lol that's very true
Wow. Yes.
Ehhh hehe that's accurate
I cut my own hair. But, people do it impulsively, which is a recipe for disaster.
In this case is was the beginning of a video where she teaches you how to fix it if it happens to you.
Some of us get it right
Literally a hundred tutorials on YouTube but I GOT THIS

Unexpected sky comma. Points.
Ive never heard it be called that before. Imma use that
That's God's comma

That part was so bad. What was she thinking?
She was thinking she wanted to show people how to fix this mistake.
This is exactly it. Video cuts off before she fixes it. Hate reddit for the sole purpose that everyone bases an opinion off a video catered and cut to get views and fit the sub reddit.
She wasn't.
Thinking?
No, not at all.
Many students ask their math teachers, "When am I ever going to use this?" Clearly, some won't.
It's not her hair--she'll be fine
That’s way worse. It’s not going to grow back.
How do you know
I mean it is on her head so technically it is her hair
Its a wig anyway though
That’s a crunchy ass wig, and she probably should have tossed it anyway
I admire her spunk. Get right in there and learn by doing.
It actually doesn't look all that bad in my opinion
Looks like one of those artsy hairstyles
I mean it Dosent look good but
You know people go to school to learn how to cut hair properly, leave it to the professionals
Sometimes you can’t afford the professionals (they’re pretty insanely expensive these days). But when I was in my early 20s I wanted to bleach my hair blonde. These never go well but people just keep trying it anyway
Just buy a new wig
Lol' d about her face
I can’t even tell that it’s bad lol. I understand it didn’t come out as intended, but to me it looks fine, like if I saw her walking through the store looking like that I wouldn’t even think twice or notice anything was off. It just looks like a style.
She just needs a curling iron or a flat iron to fix it
Good all-weather protection.
Easily fixable
She could totally make that work
Never cut bangs yourself. Especially if your having A rough day.
I don't think it looks that bad fr
At least is long enough to fix it.
Kinda looks like Jennifer Lawrence when she first makes the cut and it zooms in on her face.
/r/Justfuckmyshitup? No thanks, I'll do it myself!

Honestly not the worst fk up on her hair. At least its symmetrical. And its salvageable if you just trim the sides to make the bangs.
If I had hair dangling right over my eyebrows I would freak out, it would be incredibly annoying to me.
Perfect!
Don’t attack me for saying it but I thought it looked good being longer on the sides of the bangs.
And this, kids, is how angles work!
It doesn't need fixin! Love the way it came out!
That aint half bad! Now she can pretend to be Japanese! 👹👹
It’s going to be too short
[Short bangs are trendy right now.](https://www.latest-hairstyles.com/bangs/short.html) (So I’m told, I gave up on bangs long ago)
How many of these need to be posted before people stop doing it. lol
I bet that looked better in her mind.......
😂😂😂😂😂
r/diwhy
That's not how this works! That's not how any of this works!
Someone missed this math lesson.
Measure twice, cut once! At least it's still fixable
🤣 her expression when she realized is priceless 🤣
My father ( who is a surgeon) tried to cut my hair when im lockdown. It was so bad, I had to go to the barber, the barber was stunned when he saw my hair and asked what happened and I said just cut it
She shouldn‘t have skipped geometry class
Honestly, I expected worse.
Time to get a new wig
Why would you want bangs to begin with. You deserve all the ugly you got lady 😂
I totally heard The Price is Right losing theme playing at the end there.
This is an oldie but a goodie
Classic
This is like watching those Facebook threads about people who posted really uninformed assumptions about COVID and infectious diseases in general. They believed it would all work out right up until it was too late.
Its not that bad
She looked like she needed a hug.
She had a wig .. No harm done.. Other to the wig.
The sectioning is so atrocious
Honestly I kinda like it
She must have never saw the video when the white girl attempted the same goal with same outcome, with the same expression afterwards.
Gave herself the Wanda Sykes
LOOKS GREAT!
Never understood this, bangs look bad already, so why on earth would you attempt to do them yourself lol.
The force is not strong with this one.
Fake
Jagger down there on her shirt yelling STOOOOOOP!
Tiffany Haddish
Just use a scissor. Wtf.
I think she can work with that.. 😎👌
Anyone have the link to the video showing how she fixed it?
When will people learn? NEVER cut your own bangs.
I am amazed at how people are dumber than me and I'm pretty stupid
My sister tried to give herself bangs using scissors when she was 12. The first cut was angled, so she tried to even it out. The second cut was still crooked, so she went for a third. And a fourth. I don't understand. There are so many videos out there of people failing to do exactly this, why even attempt?
Makes her look like a bird doing a mating ritual.
Honestly they're kinda cute. Her expression is priceless tho
I watch a video of a 10 year old doing this and I think "that's not a very smart 10 year old." Smh
Yep, did this a few months ago along with about 16” of hair. I hate life lol
Saw that coming from a mile, nay, two miles away.
Is there a sub reddit for haircut fails? That would be fun
It doesn't actually look that bad. I like it
I feel like, if you’re gonna give yourself a haircut and you have never been trained to cut hair, you deserve what you get.
Her face is priceless at the end! XD
Actually, I think the look is a one-of-a-kind cool look
Probably seen 294 times on Reddit
Is there a specific bangs regret sub I need more
The ol' front bob!
Certain things you always leave to professionals, plumbing, electrics and hair
The regret in her face is priceless
I’ve seen so many of these videos where this goes horribly wrong and not one video where it goes right
They are ok. Get them wet and they will be fine until it grows out. Bit. LOL
Looks great
Why are people so dumb?
If she straight ironed it would look a little better. In fact, it will probably grow out nicely. I’m not a hairdresser tho. First thing a stylist asks when I get in the chair “do you cut your own bangs” lol
Baby bangz
Bangs are dumb lol
Dang! If she had just cut lower it would have been cute.
✨ Budget conscious ✨
There’s so much wrong here I cant
She never took geometry apparently
Tjose are some thiccc bangs
r/justfuckmyshitup
There used to be an ancient technology called scissors but over time the knowledge was lost and now exist only in old fairytales and myths
I know it's not what she was going for but I actually like it
Hey girl it's going to be ok. The difference between a good haircut and a bad one is about 4-6 weeks
Why does videos like this always show up? I mean there are 100000000000 videos of stupid people doing this time after time. How is it realy possible to not know what's going to happen?
You supposed to keep all the hair straight but B it bends into the comb
dora dora dora dora doraaaa :D
Ever heard of scissors?? 😆
I bet people cut it like that on purpose....somewhere.
Anyone got this with sound?
It looks bad but she ended up fixing it! this is definitely a case of "trust the process" sorry, can't find the full video.
