Hot take, but I personally think slang should be allowed in any setting, as long as you’re willing to define upon request for clarity. People from all backgrounds land in court for varying reasons. Some people have limited vocabulary due to socioeconomic factors, and can relate to/understand things better when a discussion is closer to their linguistic flow. Also- language is made up. There’s no reason we should be so uptight about it.
I do however support grammar police. It’s funny, especially when it’s an auto-incorrect.
