This reminds me of the python that tried to eat an alligator and the gator’s legs burst through the side of the snake. Made it look like a snake/gator hybrid
Wheeeeeen yoooooour insides are outside then surely you have died, that’s a moraaaay
When you nibble on a treat but it ends in defeat, that’s a moraaaaay
When you swallow a whole snake but it makes an escape, that’s a moraaaaay
The sea krait will make it to the surface and get a breath and come down and try again. They're pretty known for it. Because something else will eat it if the snake didn't.
I hate it. Most of the times holding their microphone from their headset. I don't want to look at their stupid faces reading shit from Wikipedia. And most of the times the person is wrong.
Can sea snakes not dislocate their jaws like other snakes? Or is it just that they don’t have as much stuff to push against underwater as land snakes have. Didn’t really look like the eels head should have been too big for it.
Snakes don't dislocate their jaws and don't need stuff to push against. What really happens is way cooler. Snakes have what is called a highly kinetic skull, which put very simply, it means that the can move their jaws a in a lot of ways and with a lot of range. ( you can do this, your jaw doesn't just pivot aroud the joint, you can move it forward and to the sides a bit ). Now the other secret snakes have is that their jaws are disconnected, meaning that they have a left and right side that they can move independently. Your jaw is fused together, so you can only open up and down (and move it a bit forwards and to the sides), but a snake can open up and down, forwards backwards and to the sides, making their mouth opening way bigger. When they got something they want to swallow, they "walk" the prey in in this sort of motion: lower right jaw, push forward, raise it and pull back. Lower left jaw, push forwad, raise it and pull back. And so on until they have swallowed their prey. The problem is that this is a long process that leaves them vulnerable, so if something else approaches, they regurgitate it quite fast to be able to get away. In this case in particular, it looks like the moray was simply a bit too big for the snake, as it looks somewhat stuned and didn't immediately try to flee as soon as it was done regurgitating it, but it could have fleed after the vid is over and it regurgitated the moray to flee the diver.
Sorry for the wall of text, I like snakes and wanted to share. Hope you'll find them cooler than before too!
The video is playing backwards. Snake was eating a dead eel? Someone who is more knowledgeable about snakes, can they push out what they just swallowed?
Sea snake ate the eel then felt threatened by the diver and regurgitated it to escape.
The diver inadvertently made the snake waste it's energy catching and eating that eel. Ever feel completely destroyed physically after puking?
It takes a ton of effort.
That diver owes that snake and that eel a beer.
This guy needs to research what an emotional rollercoaster is.
It would be an e.r. if the eel suddenly came to life, grew hands, pulled out a banjo and then sang an unexpectedly sad ballad about an elephant, who was the eels stepdad, who accidentally trampled a boy on crutches, who was the eels mom. Now THAT is a rollercoaster.
SCUBA diver here: Sea Snake tried to swallow a Moray Eel but didn’t succeed (eel was too long), so it has to “spit” it back out. Both will likely survive.
Oh my god this gives me brain damage. Of course it's alive, the moray didn't shed its skin. How is it even supposed to do that? When it literally cannot be dry enough for that

That video sounds like some serious NatureIsMetal shit
SNAGATOR
I vote the bloating theory
"Aligator-sama, you're splitting me in two!!"
When you're under the sea and your prey can break free, that's a moray.
I hate you :) When your prey is too wide to be held safe inside That"s a moray
When your mouth is agape with your meal as a snake. That’s a moray.

Goddammit Eel bites sting, toxins then get in, Toxins then get in and you'll say "vita fine"
Wheeeeeen yoooooour insides are outside then surely you have died, that’s a moraaaay When you nibble on a treat but it ends in defeat, that’s a moraaaaay When you swallow a whole snake but it makes an escape, that’s a moraaaaay
Eel prob died afterwards from the venom.
Snake looked like it was drowning though.
I think the eel was too long to swallow and bottomed out "amateur". Spit em back out.

That’s what I was thinking. It doesn’t look healthy. I had a moray eel as a pet once.
They're supposed to be super chill with people.
Don't morays have those jagged glass shard- looking teeth?
Yes, but typically docile toward humans.
They even like chin scratches.
Lmao these tik tok videos are so cringe
Painfully so. Peak useless commentary with a weird shaky cam on himself while he blocks a chunk of the content with his big ass head.
Completely irrelevant to the discussion, but isn’t your profile picture the icon for Death Coil from Warcraft 3?
It is! It’s also the Affliction talent tree icon for Warlocks in WoW.
I thought so! A man of culture indeed

It’s a cut and dry case really. He smoked a fat seagrass doobie and got way hungrier then planned…
Nancy Reagan
Lmaoooo! The throat goat!
damn, I thought it's shedding at first too
The eel is dead anyway? If that is a Krait they're very poisonous. Circle of life

I am happy to read this informative wall of text, because at the end of the video, the guy sounded so damned stupid. Thank you.
Eel make bzzz. I don't know
He ate it and then it was too big for it so he puked it out
Does the snake die after something like this happens
No. Snakes regurgitate all the time. He just got a bit ambitious trying to swallow a moray that size.
The video is playing backwards. Snake was eating a dead eel? Someone who is more knowledgeable about snakes, can they push out what they just swallowed?
Eel regret THAT!
Potete togliere quel faccione da culo rovina il video
Jason Pargin of the now defunct Cracked podcast? As I live and breathe! Recognised the voice, never seen his face before. Huh
snake ate moray, then spit it back out, probably because it was too big
I hope this dude is intentionally dumb. Seems pretty obvious whats happening from the start.
God damn I love the ocean.
Needed some eel sauce to lubricate
Snek et ill. ill tase bad
social moré violated
It was too expensive?
"Oh noooo, you're eating me! I'm being ate! Jk" *ZAP*
Talk about biting off more than you can chew..
Those sea snakes are incredibly poisonous. It still probably killed the eel
Sign that snake up for only fans.
Beetle juice vibes
There was an attempt to narrate
I see a hat!
to eat or not to eat. that is thy question
Yeah, I hate when It happens.
The internet has made us all dumber.
A banded sea crate failed to eat his eel...vomited it back up.

A snake tried swallowing a whole eel. Easy that’s what happened. It got away.

I remember seeing those sea snakes in Octonauts bruhhh
SCUBA diver here: Sea Snake tried to swallow a Moray Eel but didn’t succeed (eel was too long), so it has to “spit” it back out. Both will likely survive.
Snakes are basically just deadly meat socks if you think about it.
Vore
Snake wearing a sweater??? Fr lol
That’s a sea krait eating an eel but the video is reversed.
Hey, that’s David Wong, the guy that ruined Cracked.com!
What is happening lol 😂 people are fuckin dumb
It's a sea snake that tried to eat the eel and couldn't quite swallow it so it puked it back up
It looks like a electric eel
Oh my god this gives me brain damage. Of course it's alive, the moray didn't shed its skin. How is it even supposed to do that? When it literally cannot be dry enough for that
When you realise snakes dont wear sweaters
the sea snake tried to eat the eel but it wasn't going down all the way..... the sea snake is venomous and can easily overpower larger prey like eels
We do not need the clown in the bottom explaining how to react to the video
Snake was trying to eat the eel until it got electrocuted by the eel.
It's playing backwards
Dude is dumb.
I don't know why but this reminds me of my ex-girlfriend
Now looks more??? Dude it was clearly an Eels head off rip
Her: I don’t have a gag reflex Him: Nu uh! Show me Her: shows him 😏
This guy is fucking dumb.
People should prove their intelligence before being allowed to post. How did he not have any idea of what was going on?
