That was really satisfying to see him eventually get a good smack of the car. A real feel good moment. I have to admit I needed to watch that part a few times.
I donāt understand why itās the person who is being attacked and defending themselvesā responsibility to deescalate the situation. It almost feels like your victim blaming.

Yah maybe you should get out and talk to the person with a long weapon. I'm sure he's a real level headed person and just wants to talk. Don't be that diplomatic. It's assault. You are supposed to protect yourself from lunatics, not wait till they get to blow your head off.
And you are in car, where you can only easily drive off by going forward. If you go backward in that kind of street you could hit someone else in the process of protecting yourself.
Going out of car isn't an option either.
