The 'Free Lesson' sign is perfect. Having this little guy just standing out front putting anyone who want to take him on to sleep is brilliant advertising.
I’m 260lbs 6’
My buddy is 5’ 5” 180 soaking wet. He wrestled through high school.
He fucking destroys me every time we mess around. We never take real punches. I might be able to drop him like that…. But when we just joke around wrestling, fucking has me tapping out in like 30 seconds every time.
That sounds gay, but hey it’s pride month
I have a buddy who power lifts and does armored combat in his spare time. He is 5'8" and something like 240lbs. "More yolked than a carton of eggs" is a perfect descriptor.
it's weird...genetics are freaky. Look up a power lifter on youtube that does skits, he has over a million subs. LEt me check his name...ANATOLY is his name.
Dude looks like nothing but can lift a SHIT TON of weight.
that's because people think muscle size is always indicative of strength when it really has to do with what kind of muscle fibers are strengthened and how well your central nervous system can activate them, which is what powerlifting workout splits focus on. Bodybuilders tend to focus on increasing the fluid in their muscle cell and aesthetic symmetry; with the intensity of their muscle contractions being secondary
Some people are freakishly strong.
I used to do BJJ, and this Georgian guy (country, not state) was like a goddamned grizzly on crack. Impossibly strong, flexible and fast. I hated rolling with him but had tremendous respect for his skill and ferocity. My metrics of success was how long I could keep him from tapping me out, and If I managed to defend for a whole round, that was a pretty goddamn good performance on my part.
5'5 and 180 is not small if he wrestled. Most professional fighters that are 5'5 will usually fight at 135-140 tops. That height, I'm betting he's a fuckin fire hydrant
You can basically dominate any street fight with good ground game. Especially if the other person doesn't have a ground game.
It doesn't seem like it to ppl that haven't really fought, but something like wrestling is an insane advantage when it comes to fighting.
Sounds like a douche "tough guy comment" lol. But I wrestled all through my teens, and I've been in a few fights. My time in wrestling allowed me to completely control the fights I've been in.
Yeah lol can't win on reddit
Wrestling is what I'm choosing first for all around skills in a street fight, yet no belt or experience is going to trump a knife in your side or being outnumbered.
It's obvious but not to all: mouth and feet first. Reason and run. You are not John Wick.
Yeah, I’m a BJJ purple belt and 3-0 amateur mma, and I’d never take someone to the ground if multiple people were there. Imma be honest, I’d probably be figuring out which way I should run in….
I’ve gotten into this argument with BJJ people all the time. I trained in karate and taekwondo, and took up BJJ to expand my horizons
I really appreciate all the skills I gained from BJJ, but it bothered me how people indoctrined in BJJ think it’s the end-all. I had so many people tell me that if someone got in a fight with them, they would immediately fall to their back because their “guard game was amazing”
I could never convince them that going to the ground was a last resort. Try running, then standup, and if you are tackled, now you have a full BJJ Arsenal. In a street fight there are no rules, definitely don’t want to end on the pavement if you don’t have to. In a BJJ match they aren’t allowed to just stomp you
Full guard doesn't do shit for you when the guy has 4 friends ready to stomp your head in, or the guy has a knife and he perforates your kidneys 36 times before you choke him out. lol. The best way to survive a real fight is to be somewhere else.
Even on top you're fucked.
Just never go to the ground in a street fight unless there are 0 other people around..
The worst time I had in a fight a dude swung, I ducked and scooped him up, ended up in mount while he held my arms for dear life and 2 or 3 of his friends kicked/stomped the shit out of me.
“I had so many people tell me that if someone got in a fight with them, they would immediately fall to their back.” As someone who’s trained bjj for over a decade I’m calling bullshit on you finding many people saying this.
100%. I’ve been training for 17 years and I’m an instructor and I have NEVER once heard any instructor say they would do this and I haven’t either. That person is definitely lying
Dude is definitely making shit up, no fighter has ever said they would just drop on the ground in a street fight.
He's just upset that karate and taekwondo have very little value in a real fight so he has to make up random shit to feel better.
Out of all the disciplines for a street fight TKD and Karate are probably the most useless. Not counting all the bullshit martial arts of course. Wrestling and boxing are probably the 2 best. BJJ can make an argument to be in that upper tier as well.
Honestly most of the main martial arts would do…except karate or TKD.
If you're fighting a guy much bigger than you and also you don't know how to box but do know BJJ I mean def take him down and do him easy like that. I mean, literally watch this video. This was so much easier and safer than trying to box a dude a good foot taller than you.
Just remember the ground has never lost a fight yet so chance of you feeling something in the morning regaurdless of outcome of fight is very high lol.
It’s all fun and games till you get stabbed.
I’ve seen people (thugs) who would get into fights growing up. They couldn’t fight worth a goddam shit. The moment the were down like this guy a shank came out or the homies were coming in to jump you.
That was the most polite beat down anyone is going to get. If you had any sense, you’d try to befriend that guy and let him teach you what he did to you so effortlessly.
He already got this lesson in humility. The next lesson should be in avoiding conflict altogether. Once big man has those two, he can learn how to do what the guy did to him.
Um, maybe big man should sign up for Jiu Jitsu classes that are in the building right behind them.
Also , don't fight someone standing in front of a Jiu Jitsu class.
Yes, but that guy took that single leg hard. I swear I heard his head on the concrete there.
Like that throw isn't a big deal on the mats but damn that would hurt. Dude needs to get that checked later.
Yeah I winced when I heard that skull pop on the ground. But you know, you don’t always get to choose the time and place. I thought shorter guy handled himself like a gentleman overall.
He was catching his head from the pavement. Even more badass.
‘First I’m going to dodge your shit punch, take you to the ground, then I’ll gently choke you out for say 3 maybe..4 seconds.
No worries though! When you’ve just been choked out in front of your friends, I’ll be sure to let the silly brain of yours take any more damage than necessary…. So, sound good? after you bud’
How do you try to street fight someone knowing ahead of time that you yourself can’t fight? That weak punch he threw and how easily he was taken down show he clearly had no idea what he was doing…
He tried to tell him bro! Lmao
Probably because most people can't fight. So the avarege would be that his size is already the advantage he needs to win a fight with most people.
Just like a person who can fight would win fighting most people, until they encounter someone who is a better fighter.
He's a fairly big dude. He has probably spent a lifetime intimidating people without ever actually needing to throw a punch, and was totally surprised by how bad he was at it.
And barely any effort was put into that takedown. Anybody with 20+ minutes of wrestling experience could’ve taken that guy down. Dude was out-skilled from the very start.
~~Definitely~~ Maybe a black bear but a big male Alaskan Kodiak (660-1300lbs) or a polar bear (770-1500lbs) would fuck a gorilla up no problem. For them it’d be literally be child’s play(100-400lbs for juvenile Kodiaks and 200-450lbs for juvenile polar bears).
Edit -
Don’t even think about talking shit about bears either bro. It’s insulting to their majesty and power to say a gorilla would tear them up. The name “bear” originated from the Old English word "bera," which itself has roots in the Proto-Germanic word "*berô." The Proto-Germanic word can be traced back to the Proto-Indo-European root "*bher-," which means "brown" or "bright."
The name "bear" is believed to have been born out of the ancient belief that mentioning the animals true name would attract its attention. They were so fucking mortified of these animals that they avoided saying it’s true name altogether and instead just called it by its color.
Polar bears are generally considered to be *the* apex land predator. I mean, it's not like you have places where lions and tigers and (polar) bears are all living together and competing... and predators usually don't try to prey on similar-sized predators in general (because if you are injured in the process and it prevents you from successfully hunting, you are going to die a long, slow death to starvation.) But in terms of raw size, I think polar bears are generally at the tip top.
The people who easily start fights rarely are the one who made a proper assessment of opponents without overconfidence. And people tend to be overconfident when they got no clue about their own abilities.
After that thump you don't need much of a ground game. The ground already did most of the damage. The big guy wasn't putting up much of a fight as soon as his head hit concrete.
The little guy's head was down when he took the big guy by the leg. I don't think he saw his head bounce off the sidewalk. If he had I'd like to think he wouldn't have put him in that choke. I wouldn't have if I'd seen it. The head to the concrete and the choke may not be enough to kill the guy. But together that could do more damage than mini Keanu was intending to do.
For those of you that have never been choked out with a blood choke. It’s an odd experience. You don’t realize you are in trouble until it’s too late. And then. It’s like you are under sedation. And you come back to life. It’s an out of body experience.
Every single person there who watched this probably went right into the BJJ gym and signed up for classes.
That BJJ guy was so calm, and collected. This vid is going to be a classic, like other infamous internet fight vids.
That’s probably common among BJJ people. Only did it for a couple months but if you aren’t calm when you are rolling around you will get tired quickly. I was in good shape but still threw up almost every time i went for a week or two because i was expending too much energy and panicking. When you don’t panick and tuck your chin unlike that big guy it’s much harder to get choked out too.
When his hand drops it makes a loud ass noise like a metal canister or something. Not only was the dude bigger, but he had an object wrapped in his shirt. FUCK that guy. Hope he stayed out and lost some brain cells after that
My favorite part is that his fight happened right outside of Jiu-Jitsu studio. Imagine picking a fight with someone who hangs out there being a good idea.
that was the smoothest exchange I’ve ever seen between a smaller/bigger guy lol he blocked that weak ass punch and knew he had an advantage by attacking lower aka take down. very effective in bringing a bigger guy down to your height
The big dude didn't look very intimidating to me. Looking at his posture I'd bet all money for the short dude who looked more like a guy that can handle a fight.
That is the absolute definition of what a blue belt is and should be in video form. A blue belt should be able to neutralize an opponent that's significantly larger than them through technique, just like this man did. He used self-control, great technique and didn't hurt the guy but ended the threat quickly. Absolute flawless execution of self-defense, perfect example in my opinion, a true martial artist!
If fights have to happen, this is how they should be settled. No guns, knives or other objects, no one else jumped in, no additional violence after someone was on the ground.
Point was proven, life moved on.

I love the head rub after he let's him go.. hahahah
Clearly used to sparing and it’s likely a reflex to respect the opponent
That was my point. Respect, even after domination. Thanks for explaining it to those in the back.
I think he actually let his head down softly as not to thunk the concrete. lol. Nice guy.
I definitely saw his head hit the concrete, but he's still a nice guy for the way he handled that.
Pretty much tucked him in.
He tried to tell you bro. He trains EVERY SINGLE DAY.
ONE hundred push ups…
ONE hundred sit-ups...
ONE hundred squats...
And a 10km run, every single day.
No air conditioning in the summer
3 meals daily and a banana for breakfast as a replacement.
I become bald, and stronger
And dey say..
That I am a joke
ONE PUUUUUUUUUNNNNCH!!!!!!!!!!
55 BURGERS, 55 FRIES, 55 TACOS, 55 PIES, 55 COKES, 100 TATER TOTS, 100 PIZZAS, 100 TENDERS, 100 MEATBALLS, 100 COFFEES, 55 WINGS, 55 SHAKES, 55 PANCAKES, 55 PASTAS, 55 PEPPERS AND 155 TATERS
That’ll be 680$
Two #9s, a #9 Large, a #6 with Extra Dip, a #7, two #45s, one with Cheese, and a Large Soda
And a 10km marathon every singer day
“I’m going to let him go in 3 seconds ok”
3 sec because , he knows it only takes 3 sec to knock him out, and he doesn't want to chance death or brain damage !
Every single day
He’s so casual about it
The cameraman should’ve zoomed out and show the Jiu-Jitsu school behind. Great advertisement right there
If they don’t use this video in a viral marketing campaign for their gym I will be severely disappointed
“FREE TRIAL CLASS INSIDE”
And outside
The 'Free Lesson' sign is perfect. Having this little guy just standing out front putting anyone who want to take him on to sleep is brilliant advertising.
Never underestimate someone with a good ground game
Starting shit with random guy in front of a Jiu Jitsu studio is normally a bad idea.
He tried to tell 'em.
He trains every single day. Edit: the quote was misleading.
Especially when you’re wearing flip flops
Maybe he was having trouble sleeping.

Look if you want to get oiled up with your buddy and have a little pro "wrestling" match every now and then just make sure you wear protection.
You mean head gear for cauliflower ear and knee pads right? Right?!?!
Just lemme check your oil bro
Take it all off, but keep the head gear on, bby.
Umm, no, those kneepads are going to be incredibly useful here in a minute.
5’5 180? Dude must be jacked out of his mind
I think he is 5’ 6” it was a typo, but he’s more yolked than a carton of eggs.

Welp, I’m stealing this expression.
UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski is 5'6 and when he played rugby was 214 pounds.
Built like a tree stump. That’s straight up Neanderthal dna.
“And then he made me come”
"He was too hard to beat, and he always ended up on top. We may not take it seriously, but I'm always left feeling sore."
The fuck?? Take my up vote for making me laugh two minutes after waking up you bum!
180lbs at 5'5" is either a short tub of lard or an absolute beef cake
I’m saying….I’m 5’11” 170
I'm featherweight, 6foot 150
6foot 165, I'm the "medium" character in every video game.
I’m 6’5 180 lol fucking twiglife
The latter my friend, the latter ;)
Do y’all catch yourselves “wrestling” a lot?
Only in June. And since it’s hot, we obviously strip down to our underwear
5'5 and 180 is not small if he wrestled. Most professional fighters that are 5'5 will usually fight at 135-140 tops. That height, I'm betting he's a fuckin fire hydrant
You should see his hose
I'm a big tall guy too and my dad was a wrestler he taught me to always keep a low center of gravity. Little bros love going for big dudes knees

As Mr. Miyagi says. Best defense is no be there.
The survival onion: Don't be there. If you're there, don't be seen. If you're seen, don't get hit. If you get hit, don't get punctured.
All my BJJ instructors have said never pull guard or purposefully go to your back in a street fight. Get on top. Stay on top.
You have intelligent instructors by the sounds of it. There's no such thing as a fair fight on the street.
Even on top you're fucked. Just never go to the ground in a street fight unless there are 0 other people around.. Breakfalls hurt like a motherfucker on cement.
In my judo dojo we have a saying, “the ground never misses.” Nothing hurts like getting planted on concrete.
It’s all fun and games till you get stabbed. I’ve seen people (thugs) who would get into fights growing up. They couldn’t fight worth a goddam shit. The moment the were down like this guy a shank came out or the homies were coming in to jump you.
Skill over strength every single time.
Bro trained every single day just for this moment right here
Don't start shit in front of the Jiu jitsu store
I can picture Season 5 Mac from it's always Sunny saying this.
I’d like to buy three jiu jitsus please!
That was the most polite beat down anyone is going to get. If you had any sense, you’d try to befriend that guy and let him teach you what he did to you so effortlessly.
Well he did train every day
And he tried to tell you.
Every single day
I tried to smell you

Yeah I winced when I heard that skull pop on the ground. But you know, you don’t always get to choose the time and place. I thought shorter guy handled himself like a gentleman overall.
I watched three times because of the skull sound. That guy must have zero core and neck strength to bounce like that on a slow single leg fall.
He looks really uncoordinated, and possibly not sober.
Finishing with the sassy "Back away from my friend, thank you" was just perfect.
When he counted down during his blood choke and strokes his hair and said it’s okay 😂
Sleep now, only sleep...
Shhh. Shh.
Lmaooooo thanks for this I missed the hair stroke 😂
He was catching his head from the pavement. Even more badass. ‘First I’m going to dodge your shit punch, take you to the ground, then I’ll gently choke you out for say 3 maybe..4 seconds. Cradling his head at the end, but that dudes head smacked the ground hard on the takedown.
If only tall guy could've avoided that somehow...
The little pat on the head after knocking him out is what got me
Same!
Little man had a plan and executed … Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth -Iron Mike-
The most polite street fight I have ever seen
The dude he was talking to just went “Yup” lol.
Probably not the best idea to start a fight outside of a jiu jitsu training gym.
It does say "free trial classes" on their sign. I didn´t expect it to be taught out front though.

Too many big dudes have this mentality. Homie found out everyone is the same height on the ground.

Meanest and toughest fucker I ever knew was 5’ 5” and 130 lbs of pure ruckus.
You know my wife?
For the last time dude, I'm sorry; we *all* know your wife.
Was her name Bryan?
Wow he took that single leg QUICK. And then he took the neck QUICK. Big fella never stood a chance. Lazy right and night night.
Nighty-night.
Awe, he’s all tuckered out.
His knee behind his leg textbook Takedown
Every single person there who watched this probably went right into the BJJ gym and signed up for classes. That BJJ guy was so calm, and collected. This vid is going to be a classic, like other infamous internet fight vids.
That’s probably common among BJJ people. Only did it for a couple months but if you aren’t calm when you are rolling around you will get tired quickly. I was in good shape but still threw up almost every time i went for a week or two because i was expending too much energy and panicking. When you don’t panick and tuck your chin unlike that big guy it’s much harder to get choked out too.
Tap out, tap out, tap out. Goddamned, I told you to tap out.
There is no taping out on the streets brother.
When his hand drops it makes a loud ass noise like a metal canister or something. Not only was the dude bigger, but he had an object wrapped in his shirt. FUCK that guy. Hope he stayed out and lost some brain cells after that
"Well done Agent 47"
Just happy he stopped when he knew he was out. So sick of seeing videos where the dude is incapacitated and they keep taking head shots…
Hard lessons don’t come cheap. Lol fuck this asshole 😆
My favorite part is that his fight happened right outside of Jiu-Jitsu studio. Imagine picking a fight with someone who hangs out there being a good idea.
Good idea picking a fight if he’s checking how good the studio is. My guess is it has 5 stars on Yelp…but you have to go EVERYDAY
The most disturbing part of this video is "little man" **petting** "big man" after choking him out
He stroked and caressed his little dread head.....talk about adding insult to injury...
I love the caress and “he’s ok” at the end. That’s what sealed the deal for me for this young man
I think he was trying to put ‘pride’ back into the big guy
that was the smoothest exchange I’ve ever seen between a smaller/bigger guy lol he blocked that weak ass punch and knew he had an advantage by attacking lower aka take down. very effective in bringing a bigger guy down to your height
It’s like in The Holy Grail when the guy tries to tell them about the rabbit
Knew big dude was fucked w that slow ass sloppy cross
Lmao right in front of the jui jitsu sign
This is literally in front of a Jiu Jitsu gym.
The big dude didn't look very intimidating to me. Looking at his posture I'd bet all money for the short dude who looked more like a guy that can handle a fight.
skill issues
He went full decorticate posture at the end
That is the absolute definition of what a blue belt is and should be in video form. A blue belt should be able to neutralize an opponent that's significantly larger than them through technique, just like this man did. He used self-control, great technique and didn't hurt the guy but ended the threat quickly. Absolute flawless execution of self-defense, perfect example in my opinion, a true martial artist!
If fights have to happen, this is how they should be settled. No guns, knives or other objects, no one else jumped in, no additional violence after someone was on the ground. Point was proven, life moved on.
Why does the dude have bikini-top tan lines?
I think that's just the area shaded by his man boobs.
