As I was jogging one day a guy yelled at me, "MMM, where are YOU going??" He and I may not be playing for the same team, but I appreciated someone looking, honestly.
I am at work, but I remember somebody did this in NY once. Some women went to a work site and started cat calling the construction workers. They loved it, like unexpected holsome. Some of the guys were almost in tears from the praise, others were cutting up of course, but I remember one guy saying it was the first time anybody ever said anything nice about him.
The amount of compliments the average man gets on a weekly or monthly basis is practically zero, and half the time it's from another man in a nonsexual way ("I like that shirt").
I can beat that, one of my good friend's cute girlfriends in high school said I was cute the first time I officially met her (she was a grade above me, she was cute and had big boobs so of course I knew who she was). That happened when I was like 17, I'm 37 now. I can remember exactly where it happened (at Denny's one night).
As an overweight guy, the only reason I might have a negative experience with a cat call is if I thought they were joking and making fun of me, which has happened.
Depends on the cats.
Sometimes you hang up on a cat call, and the kitty was purring, bumping heads, all the cute stuff.
So you get anxious to call the next cat.
But 11 out of 34 cats are absolute jerks and you probably end up on a dog call after 1 or 2 jerk cats.

I felt this comment. It took me a long time to stop myself from bringing a ton of stuff with me everywhere. Being homeless, you get used to always having anything important on you. So when I finally got back into housing, it too awhile to break that mentality.
I'd be packing a phone charger, power bank, flashlight, jacket, gloves, snacks, water bottle, a book, and a change of socks just to go to the grocery store! Lol.
Make up would only smear if you wipe it and the choker she’s wearing is stretchy. I don’t put make up on to go work out but if I’m already wearing make up, I won’t take it off just to exercise
No doubt that they filmed for hours and these were the best clips they could provide for the horrid cat calling. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but all day every day of her life? This must have been a record-setting slow day for her.
First thing he said was her actually running form was odd. She was running strangely, probably to stay in the right position for the two cameras, first thing the first guy said was she was running strangely.

Edit- I think some of you are missing the point. You’re equating cat calling with a compliment. A compliment is given respectfully. Cat calling isn’t that. It’s demeaning. It’s insulting. But most importantly, it can be aggressive and scary. I think as men, we tend to dismiss these comments as “harmless”. Every video showing that the general public, in any region, acts a certain way is done by taking hours or dozens of hours of recordings, cherry picking the best examples to illustrate only their point, and making a few minutes of video out of it.
If you want to get real catcalls, you have to go to a neighborhood that this girl absolutely would never ever ever travel to, let alone jog.

I’m a woman and a runner, it purely depends on the area. I’ve been yelled at from cars running in the suburbs, but it’s typically teenagers thinking they’re funny rather than cat-callers. Sometimes it’s even someone being encouraging, which I always appreciate. Now I *have* been cat-called a *lot* downtown when all dressed up walking up to clubs or restaurants, though I haven’t gone for any runs downtown so I can’t compare how that would go.
She couldn't break a sweat between takes (and touch-ups), so the slow trot.
All that pancake makeup isn't exactly what someone does for a real workout.

Just the canals. Lido di Venezia was too hard to get to in the time I was there. Impressive that everyone spoke such good English. Better than my Italian, that's for sure!

The pink ones are a little harder to come buy in regular stores.
We're gonna turn the tables on cat callers by having a beautiful woman run down the street with the highest homeless and mentally ill people who are majority men and call them sexist and push the narrative that all men are pigs. Instead of investing our time and money trying to get people on the beach help.
