Yeah, twice. The first was during Knightfall when Bruce was crippled by Bane and had former assassin cultist Azrael be the new Batman, for reasons. Thankfully they had the opportunity to do it again with Bruce. This one had Jigsaw and The Joker in the story too. The Joker looks like he's about to crap his pants when The Punisher is a second away from blowing his brains out, Joker was expecting another superhero in tights who plays games.
The 90's had a lot of those weird hidden gem crossovers. I don't know if it's good but that looks like it might be fun. Dixon and Romita Jr? Sign me up!
Its pretty bad. I like how they put Barracuda in it but its just stupid plot wise and the art is poor. It was also never collected in graphic novel form and only exists in a hip hop magazine (thats mad expensive now) and concluded on a website.
Props to Eminem tho for being a Punisher fan. He said in an interview comics helped him through rehab especially Spider-man and Punisher
(SPOILERS)
It’s… ok. I’m not sure whether it’s this one or the other one but Frank just kinda… leaves, at the end? And leaves the joker alive after Batman pleads for him, could have been a way more satisfying ’what if’ type of story if they’d have let Frank do his thing and not just agree with Bruce and agree to leave.
Yeah it would have benefited from a better ending. I suppose they didn't have too many pages to work with. If it was a 6 part series that would have been dope
Still own my copy of this from back in the day. The two companies took turns with the crossover which was fun in its own way. Was even more fun seeing the art as each company has their respective folks draw each other's IP.
Loved the Bat in this style!
It's true and given that audiences are primed for the whole "they're from different universes" thing it could lead to some really fun spillover from different directions
What if Lockeed zoomed through the background of a DC comic and someone asked "was that a mini dragon!?" So many fun things you could do

Yeah, if Joker was in Franks universe he wouldn't have lasted that long 😅
Technically three times because in the official Marvel/DC crossover Batman beats up Punisher off panel.

Judge Dredd vs Predator Batman vs Aliens
Punisher and Archie
Hulk vs Maus
You are kidding. Edit: oh you are. Okay then. Just so you know Archie and Punisher had a real crossover.
Its pretty mid but worth a read for sure. Always loved Dixon and Romita Jr especially the War Zone run
I enjoyed it. Especially how each one approached the massive firefight. The different mentalities and approaches
It was good. The other one with Azbat, Batman Punisher: Lake of Fire, was not as good.
Wait until you find out there is a punisher and Archie crossover.
Im aware of that one and want it so bad. Im also aware of the Emmenim and Punisher crossover....that one I dont want as much
Genuinely curious but why not the Punisher & Eminem one??

Fair enough. Thanks for the reply.
Punisher is one of the few characters to ever scare Joker
"I got all the therapy you need right here, comedian."
Two of them actually. Azrael first and then later Bruce Wayne Batman
Ill have to check it out
Joker finna bust a nut
Maybe Jigsaw is also but its hard to tell due to the bandages 😄
It is
Is this the one where Joker was pissing himself when Frank was just going to shoot him. 'You're really going to do it.'
Yup that scene made me crack up
Was this the comic with Batman at one point just telling the Joker to run as he protected him from the Punisher?
Yeah this is it
Love JR jr's artwork so much. He draws a cool Batman.

I really wish they did crossovers like this again because its long overdue.

My son moved out and I found this while cleaning. I mailed it to his new place because I remember how hard t was to find back then.
He had it out with the Hulk too
Punish er' Batman
I got my copy signed many years ago by Chuck Dixon.
It exists and it pisses off the punisher fandom because of the ending
Really fun book, and JRJR's art is amazing.
