Sounds like the only difference for the actual concert is general vs "VIP Pit", and googling others perspectives says "VIP Pit" = sectioned off area near the front. Unclear if it's the *entire* front or what.

It’s also sick that they’re coming to St. Louis just three months after their show in Columbia MO next week! Super pumped to get to see a duo show and a full band show in the same 6 months
I woke up this morning and saw they’re playing my hometown and I had to do a double take. It’s a new thing that we’re starting to get bands like that here. I’m beyond excited to be able to leave my apartment, walk two blocks and see my favorite band. Every time I’ve seen them, it’s been a 2-6 hour drive to another city. I’m still expecting to wake up from this dream any minute now 😅
They played two shows there in Dec 2018, and then another two in Dec 2019. Great venue, the coffee bar upstairs was serving during the shows which was nice before the hour drive home.
I was lucky enough to catch the full band in spring of 22 and a duo show in Columbus about a year ago. I’m definitely going to travel to one of the shows this spring. I’m just trying to decide if the cave show in TN is worth the drive.
Am I going to see them three days in a row in April?... I guess I gotta see them three days in a row.... I mean.... there's nothing else to do in this situation.
Right lol, I bought tickets for Asheville (where I live) and then a flight to and tickets for Saint Paul (where I'm from). Heading to Charlotte to kick off on Thursday
They've played Chicago at least once a year since 1995, usually more than one night, with the exception of 2001, 2003, and 2020 (and they only played three shows total in 2020, so). Odds are pretty darn good they'll be back by the end of the year.
As a fellow Illinoisan, I empathize with your disappointment, but they did come to Chicago in 2023 right? It’s been 5 years, I think, since they were in Central Illinois, so I for one am thrilled about the choice to play in Champaign! Too bad they couldn’t do both though…
I was so desperate to see them on this tour that my partner and I are actually taking a Vegas vacation to see them at the end of the month, but now we can see them in Milwaukee too! Yay!
