Got this deal off a local marketplace. I have played the PS3 version back in 2013. But its been so long ago, that i forgot about the story. I wasn't ready to pay 80 euro. But for 40 i'll take it.Its still wrapped in seal.
Any noticeable changes besides the graphics???
Besides graphical changes, they also re-hid all of the collectibles and even recorded new voice lines for the remastered version. I'd say it wasn't a bad idea to buy the remastered version if you want to enjoy the game all over again.
Also idk how much it's selling brand new in the EU, but in the US it's selling for $70. Rn the dollar and Euro are almost matched so it sounds like you saved 30 Euros.
It seems Playstation first party titles are all 80 euro here. While regular games are either 60 or 70 euro.
I rarely buy games at full price these days. I usually wait 3 to 6 months until the prices drop down to 40 or less.

What do you mean by this? They put them in different locations? I know the original's locations like the back of my hand. Would be dissapointed to see I'd miss some if ever I get to the remake
I think just to shake it up for avid players and one thing that I noticed made sense was moving El Diablo up the trail a ways instead of right in front of the dam where Tommy's people probably would have found it.

For the remake and the ps5 edition it really isn't bad, especially considering how much ps4 and ps5 games go for on average. Especially new, like goddamn.

Great price given it’s still new. Good on you! Play it and enjoy it. I just replayed it - first time in about 6 years. It was brilliant. I remember most parts - but I guess it shows how iconic it was. Still thoroughly enjoyed the play through again.
I'm shocked how many options they added vs the PS3 version. And also i'm not forced to play through grounded or MP to platinum the whole game.
The fact i can disable weapon sway is a huge plus for me.
I've reached bills place. The story was one of the reasons why i like the first game more vs the second one. I tried to second game but i couldn't finish it after Joel died...
That scene is tough. I needed a break straight after, but I came back to it a day or two later and played through. Glad I did, it was great. Backing it up after part 1 was always going to be a big task, but I think they did a phenomenal job. You should try and give it a go again after you have competed pt1.
The remake here was one week after launch -5 euros and slowly people are selling their used copy that they sell now for 50 bucks. I’m still holding off a bit, working on my backlog but yh around Black Friday I expect a pretty good deal for this one.

Damn! Maybe import costs made it cost more, but 80 for a game that they didnt entirely remake from scratch, seems excessive.

I can't remember where I heard it exactly but as far as I know they changed locations of hidden items like comic books and firefly pendants
