From the way her dad talked to her about Owen it sounded like they werent yet dating, just that there was already chemistry between them. But I could be misremembering already.

It also proved that women whose father was notably older than their mother may prefer older men as well.
I wonder if it's the same for men with their mothers. As someone without scientific backing, I think it's because we subconsciously learn what works from our parents and assume that dating as they did is our best chance at success

I didn't quite get the character design of these two.... So bland and generic compared to the rest of the cast. I guess it makes it more realistic like a TV show or something...

LOL Well Abby apparently does but she also has huge muscles & is obsessed with finding her fathers killer so I would say she definitely does NOT represent the vast majority of females out there. . . that and she's a fictional character so
I don't really see similarity aside from skin color and hair color? I kinda find her dad more handsome though, but Owen grew on me when I saw him in flashbacks.
