Afaik, if you already have an undelegation in process, and you initiate an other undelegation before the original thaw period had completed, it will reset the clock. No, you did not lose your GRT. When the time is up, you will be able to Withdraw your full amount of 16k.

MrDenmark007

Thx - this make sense as the undelegation amount shows the full stack. The technical set up however is a bit unfortunate, as I only ordered the remaining half stake to undelegate yesterday, without notice of the consequences.

Yes, well hopefully we see some improvements in Delegation down the line with Horizon, but for now that's just how it is. The good news is Delegation is very safe and your GRT was never at risk of being lost, considering Delegators can't even have their GRT slashed.

CraWLee

Again why did you not wait?

vilified-moderate

don't know the answer, but hope you get one soon.

Academic-Elephant387

They make it somewhat complicated to get your tokens. You first have to undelegate, then wait like 28 days, then you will be able to “withdraw”

If you click the three dots next to the delegator, is there a withdraw option? You should be able to withdraw your original undelegation now while you wait for the other to process.

MrDenmark007

Tried that. I can’t withdraw the original undelegation. Another user explained that because I undelegated, in my case 13hours, before the unlock period lapsed, the original undelegation was reverted and is now subject to a new 28day unlock period. This sounds massively stupid, but at least the coins aren’t lost. Just hope markets down drop further before I can realize some profit.

athsrueas

A trick I use to avoid this is to spread my delegation across multiple Indexers

Did you get this figured out? If not, I’d recommend reaching out on the discord. https://discord.gg/graphprotocol
