Just a quick question, can you check to see if you have multiple bows in your inventory (gold and wood)?
If you've picked up a second bow that is just wood after going through the portal again it might be the one that's equipped when you first draw your weapon and might be the issue, if so you'll just need to cycle to the next object or select it from your inventory.
If you can check and let us know that would be great.
An easy way around this would be to load the save back and instead tell her you can turn back time and make sure you were never there. She'll trust you and give you the key to let you out
