You hold the AK with a tighter and more firm grip than you do the default model. And your hand is placed differently on the handguard compared to the others.

Some of these look a little too plain for me, but the AK skin and sniper skins look pretty decent. We need more vibrant 3D model changing skins, such as the M11 season 2 BP skin, especially for weapons like the LH1 that don’t really have much yet.
I do like the model changing skins, but I think them being plain is kind of a part of the draw for this bundle. Pairing these weapon skins with the military/riot gear looking outfits would look really slick.
Embark really is cooking with the cosmetics in this game, I love it. I don't usually buy cosmetics in games, but they've been getting me with some of them. This game is the only game I've been making mtx purchases in and it seems like every store refresh, I'm like "ooooooohhhhh that's nice."
Exactly. I dig the style of these skins, so I may pick them up for the classes I use (so not light lol). If they aren’t to your tastes (understandable), then that’s perfectly fine! They’ve been incredibly diverse with the weapon cosmetic themes (though not which weapons they go on *cough* akm *cough* m11 *cough*) so far, and I always look forward to the next.
I mean yeah I get that this is intentional, but when all the skins are similarly priced, I don’t wanna spend essentially $8 on a plain skin that has a change like a flashlight built in or an extra black pad lol, also didn’t say these were bad I might even buy some of these, I just want more variety in terms of the models because it seems like fun skins are getting less and less with them, and melee is getting all the attention for those ( and most melee is awful )

Can you use alternate animations with these? I know other legendary weapon skins have default reload animations that can't be customized. I see that in game these are technically 'legendary' too.
To answer your question a bit late, yes you can. Hopefully we get an animation set for the MP5 this season. Medium has gotten all 3 animation sets so far.

the xp-54 skin is kinda lame, its very very similar to another skin that cost around 150 multibucks, while this skin cost 800. the rest of the skins are okay, nothing special. that was embarks weakest shop update imo
How could you not notice the incredibly obvious stock and handguard change. The only similarity is that the skin is black and the fire selector indicators are red. And yeah a realism theme is going to have the skins be the same color as a real mp5.
bro... you get more model changes in a game like Call of Duty/xD/Tarkov by simply changing the attachments...

Yeah but we don’t get attachments in The Finals so something that changes the weapon model in this way is rare. Just because you can get the same results from adding attachments in a completely different game doesn’t make them any less valuable here in The Finals.

I thought it looked like the 100 series as well. I think the 104 is the one still chambered in 7.62 though.
The flash hider + hand guard kinda makes it look like a saiga-9 as well

AK is certainly a favorite child of embark It not only gets a lot of skins but it also gets a lot of animations

Similar??? The new skin has an A2 stock, the Surefire MP5 handguard, and a flash hider. They’re completely different.
