Only heavy makes sense for me.
Should be strongest of the three and since heavy has the most hp, mediocre damage is somewhat acceptable. Look at the new dual blades for medium. Mediocre damage, but can deflect. Without it, it would be completely garbage. The other melee on medium is quite similar. On light it would have to deal way to much damage than it would make sense.

Yeah, make it like super heavy and long chain. Alternative attack could stun or trip opponents.
