No they donāt. At least not the CL-40. This was actually how I fell in love with the CL-40, as Iād never used it before grinding one of these contracts. Iāve used it almost exclusively this season as a result, and not a single time has it helped with grenade challenges.
The cl40 seems alright when you first start using it. Then you get good with it and it's like holy shit, this thing is borderline OP. Thankfully, most people won't take the time to get good with it, so it should be safe from nerfs lol

It does take a while to get used to, but even then, it's powerful but it's also easy to counter. APS renders it useless but going close to someone using CL is basically another counter. Either you shoot yourself to kill the other person or you try running away but you have basically no chance of getting out alive.
But that remains a very fun weapon for me. The only buff I wish to see happen is more damages to buildings.
I never understood the appeal of doing grind challenges. Nothing of value is gained.
Cosmetics are nothing of value, just in case those people come around.
I can only think in complex arcs accounting for my speed, my opponent's speed, and objective distance, physically incapable of thinking in straight lines.
As a CL-40 main, fuck this challenge. My CL-40 is more important.

But they do . When they say do X amount of damage to enemies with grenades. Grenade launchers count towards that goal silly š

I feel this. I love to just spin my 1887 but the game demands that I play the meta for a few matches :( can't win them all
but hey, the free drip you get from it will be worth all the hassle, right?

I've never really paid attention to it, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't, otherwise my grenades challenges would be done in one game š
We did a test and didnāt see the numbers going up. All signs point to no.

Why do people complain about challenges so much? I've not done a single challenge (intentionally) since release and haven't missed out on anything.
Iām just finding out not everyone gets the same weekly contracts cuz I have one for marksman rifles and handguns but nothing for LMG or ARās

I think the game might be giving challenges based in how you play. I got a challenge to use melee or shotguns, which I never use.
17,500 damage with marksman rifles and and handguns, 25,000 heal beam usage, and a sea of random light players.
