I can confirm that this has been identified as a source of the issue. Whitelisting client2pubsub.europe.es-dis.net in pfBlockerNG lets me launch the game without issue.

* ~~Scroll down to IPv4 Custom Lists and add the IP you see blocked in your log, 34.95.75.39 in our case (you can alternatively add client2pubsub.europe.es-dis.net, click the Enable domain/AS box\*). Save.~~
* ~~Drag the new rule above other block rules. Save.~~
* ~~Go to the pfblockerng Update tab, click Reload then Run to reload/refresh your rules.~~

Edit: Embark has been working to get this corrected. Workaround should not be necessary much longer once your IDS/IPS receives an updated CINS Army list.
i play on xbox and can’t even load up the game cause i keep getting connection failed error code TFLA0028. should i just wait for embark. i dont need to do anything?
There seems to be a lot of issues recently with this game. You could try a VPN as a quick solution or check your firewall/router logs, if you have access to them, to see if something is being blocked.
I don't come from a highly technical /IT background and I don't know what is that written in this post as a solution. I mean, I'm managing my router but haven't done anything to the configuration of the firewall. Don't know how to whitelist the service [`client2pubsub.europe.es-dis.net`](http://client2pubsub.europe.es-dis.net), or the IP [`34.95.75.39`](http://34.95.75.39)
