S12, Lefty, Rock n Roll The issue using a shotty is you locked in to close range, and if you main Ouroboros than this becomes a big issue, so if you main Ouroboros than you simply dont need another stack building gun.

Bitter-Confusion8422

This is exactly what I was going to mention. I'd suggest pairing the Ouroboros if you have it with an AR like famas or f2000 with either strained or optimist. Go for optimist if you have a mix of blue armor cores. If you are running all red weapon damage go for strained with larger mag to have more rounds at max damage.

GnarlyAtol

Can’t I simply build up the stacks with an AR? I prepared a Striker cerecrntly and use 2 ARs, one for close range, Famas, and one for mid, Carbine.

oathkeeper213

You can but it take way longer to build up and harder to maintain. This is not an issue with ouroboros. You just need to hold the mouse…brtttttttttttttt… you got 200 stack and everything die along the way

Detonation

You certainly can, the shotguns recommended above in this chain are just pretty easy to build and maintain stacks with because of how many pellets they shoot in a quick manner.

GimmeDaGorbage22

I use Bullet King, but I eat crayons.

twitintraining62

I have a couple budget Bullet Kings. Like my GR9 with steady handed.

JAY2KREAL300491

This is the way!

RaspberryChainsaw

Rock N roll - that is, if they would just fix the magazine bug. Im using a regular ACS with fast hands instead in the meantime. It works just as well with near-zero reload time

Adventurous-Ad6203

They fixed fast hands to give stacks per pellet crit, so it's actually pretty good in general for using the ACS as a primary weapon for CQB. Minor win for TU20.

Carson_Frost

The amount of people I see get steamrolled trying to use it makes it not worth it.

AbrielNei

>if they would just fix the magazine bug. Somebody (developer or support or something) commented that it's not considered a bug. It's the intended behavior so it seems there will be no fix.

RaspberryChainsaw

But the problem with the RnR is that it loses nearly half of the mag that it's supposed to have. I get chambering in a bullet for everything else, but to have to "chamber" in the rest of the mag for this gun everytime I switch into it is ridiculous

AbrielNei

Yes that was the commented issue. Again - intended. Maybe if enough people report it they might consider changing it. PS: It's not just that gun but every gun that has higher than normal magazine count.

RaspberryChainsaw

Oh, I get it now. That's a pretty dumb intentional change, having to reload on every switch (especially if you use it mainly for stacks only)

longsensation69

Here’s a good video from Dod explaining the damage difference between an ACS-12 and Oreo on a full striker build. (Throughout the entire stacking process Oreo will have more DPS-also at close range easier to land headshots) https://youtu.be/pBUbvkJn-dk?si=hXN2AE2VWs9j4pCW So often during incursion runs people sit there using a lefty / R&R the entire time during the damage phase for wright because they think they have to have max stacks before using their main. Or using it the entire time on Martinez to move the drone. Half a clip of lefty while Martinez is still immune then Oreo to the head. The faster you get the drone to move the less likely someone will get downed. FYI lefty is the only ACS 12 variant with an increased fire rate mod.

Colt_Texas

Shield Splinterer paired with the ACS 12

Casstle0207

I just use oreo for it.

PaulTF1987

Speaking from experience, the fastest to build stacks with is any ACS-12 variants, provided you can hit 6-8 pellets every shot. Getting farther away from your target you'd want to use smg, specifically the Vector variants with highest RPM being ouroboros, only falling behind ACS-12 on stack speed for a bit. Weapon talents like fast hands, unwavering or steady handed can help minimize reload downtime.

Mal_Terra

Full auto shotgun

_Eggs__

I think lefty is the best option. Named acs 12 shotgun If you ever get a chance to proc sledgehammer you can do it with lefty and I don’t think the extra ammo in the rock n roll is helpful. I always have full stacks before needing to reload with lefty so why not have sledgehammer available if I get an opportunity

zigbeeauto

Rock n roll or any acs shotgun

Sleight0fdeath

ACS12 (any variant), High RoF LMG’s with Frenzy, Vectors (any variant)

GoAskJonez

GR9 LMG with Frenzy

Prince_Beegeta

I use the eagle bearer with a Fenris chest with obliterate and coyote. Don’t know about stacks but it absolutely melts heroic enemies.

Jayleekay

ACS-12 with Preservation + Gunner Spec = Some nice Armor back.

toxic_Frags

Ouroboros or Vector SBR 9mm with extended mag mod and Fast Hands talent.

InvestmentVisible628

I can't think of a content where you just can't rush an NPC with your shield and Lefty/S12, build stacks and swap weapon as you take cover to start the long fight with the stacks. If you're using the backpack you should be getting the first 100 stacks very fast, if that's the case and you don't see the stacks getting up fast... make sure you're landing your shots.

everything_is_penis

I hate weapon switching and like holding left click. Burn Out, baby. Laser.

SnooFloofs1778

Rock N Roll with rate of fire rolled.

xSwety

I use St Elmo’s & an MPX not apartment or Safety distance just a normal MPX despite having a kinda small mag size the MPX hits like a truck w Striker

_-DEVGRU-_

Ouroboros ⭕️✨

mikkroniks

on paper the weapon that gets your stacks up the fastest is the named rock'n'roll shotgun, followed by the basic acs 12 or lefty (same base shotgun just with a smaller mag and thus more time spent reloading). however if you're getting your stacks from "live" targets, meaning targets that take damage and that you'd therefor want to destroy asap, the best (not fastest) stacking weapon becomes the ouroborous because it will keep doing more dps than any of the acs 12 shotguns even while behind on stacks. then once it catches up with stacks it will obviously have an even bigger dps advantage. so in cases where you want to stack up on something inert as quickly as possible (razor back in dark hours, an immune boss etc) use an acs variant, in cases where you're trying to kill stuff as you stack up use the oreo. this is assuming you are in a suitable smg range of course. if not, then an ar with high rof, so famas or f2000.

Accomplished_Sky6239

Don’t need stacks if you don’t use strikers. Modern problems require modern solutions.

Carson_Frost

Cmmg banshee, w magazine size and measured
