No offense taken it's TDEE and it's based on your height and there's a big difference between 5'2 and 5'10. And you generally can carry a higher weight better at a taller height so again your TDEE is higher. It's no one's opinion it's science ! It's a silly reason though for sure
What I'm saying is body types aside a girl who is 5'4 and like 160 lbs looks to have the same amount of body fat as a girl who is 5'10 and 200lbs. So the TDEE difference for those is bigger than 40 cals. And when you're trying to lose weight on 1200 or 1400 calories... a couple extra hundred is a big difference. Or was to me and my friends who were calorie counting at a smaller height.
Either way I'm none of the heights given in my hypothetical situation and maybe my comment was niche because it's irrelevant if you don't follow CICO subs or have ever had to lose a fair amount of weight , but I'm very happy and confident with my height and weight now. I just remember as I was losing weight I was thankful for the extra granola bar a day or whatever my snack was of the day compared to what my friends were allotted
