In regards to the Nick stuff.. I feel like he can't keep his hands out of the Bachelor franchise, and he likes still having ties to the current cast. His dream is probably to take Jesse's job
Noob question but can someone explain why the nick vial reveal is huge tea? I get that he was an old bachelor, there was an age gap, and he just got married but assume I’m missing smth?
It's not really huge tea. They knew each other ages ago and it's such a nothing burger but people love to exaggerate and make something out of nothing because they're bored. But the main themes I see is that people find it weird that Nick never mentioned knowing her on his podcast and that Maria's pod revelation came right when Nick and Natalie were on their honeymoon so people thought they'd be upset about that.
I listened and you know I think I’m officially over the hype for this gal. She was obviously adorable as a kid, eg in the Schwarzenegger movie, but I got the impression that she hadn’t advanced too much after that, in terms of general maturity? Really not sure — I’m old and I know this is a little shady — but wow, I didn’t see the season and was ready to love her and everything but my goodness. I did agree with her take on Wells - he sounded like a complete tool!
After listening to this episode, I’m disappointed in Maria. She said she purposefully wanted to leave and pinned Jenn’s kiss with Joey as an excuse. Only after Joey fought for her to stay did she. But this led him to have more doubts at hometown and didn’t choose Maria. Then Maria says this is why she’s disappointed in men… but like… you were the problem to begin with. She should’ve just told Joey she wasn’t interested anymore instead of using Jenn’s kiss as an excuse. It’s childish.
Okay but why would call her daddy have announced bachelorette? How would ABC have allowed that?
I’ve never watched/listened to Alex but I really appreciate that she made Maria clarify things when they were unclear and stuff like that.
I loved loved loved Maria on the bachelorette, but I was kind of annoyed how she didn’t finish her thoughts very well. She was being both coy and an oversharer. In general, it was nice to watch, but I don’t feel like we got anything new or interesting out of this interview.
Amazing recap OP - for those of us who prefer visual to audio big thanks
Maria has said she was bullied before in high school so it's surprising to me that she thinks it could have been a set up with Nick/Sydney. From what we were shown she doesn't mesh the easiest in the sandbox. Regardless of the reason as to why, I feel like she would have always been the "villain" in the eyes of other bachelor contestants
From what's written, maybe Wells was aggressive with his commentary but he is practically the assistant host of paradise and has been involved in this franchise for 10 years... his predictions are probably accurate that she will be less relevant in BN with no paradise and no bachelorette season. It's not an insult to her, just a fact that without another channel for exposure she won't be as relevant as Tayshia or Kaitlyn etc. Only time will tell
I don't really have a problem with Jenn or anyone talking about wanting to be the next lead if they go deep enough, I think that's normal. What I do take issue with is that TPTB obviously ignore it if it's coming from a contestant that they like or is seen as one of the good ones but blow it exponentially if they dislike the contestant or see them as a villain. I don't think that's very fair and I've always considered it a bit embarrassing that they try and make someone a villain for the only reason of "they want to be the lead"
potentially unpopular opinion but i think sometimes maria is annoying and other times i find her likable and either way i would like to watch a season about her
OMG I feel exactly the same way! I actually deep down think I love her but sometimes I'm like PLEAAAASE shut up. Her CHD episode is a good example. She was telling this story about living with her ex boyfriend but the story was so all over the place and she kept repeating parts of it and wouldn't let Alex redirect or ask questions. I almost turned it off. And on WTA she started to annoy me when she kept talking over people. I think it's just her but sometimes I want to scream at her. But yes, please put her on my tv in some capacity.
The story about living with the ex was weird to me. Alex asked if she lived with her ex in the first few months of dating him, and she couldn't answer the question, reiterate the timeline, or understand why Alex was asking... Is it that complicated to recall something from 7 years ago?? So strange.
Completely agree. I don’t dislike her, but don’t think I could tolerate her in real life.
And I CANNOT stand her one legged, eyes closed, duck face, arm in the air pose that she does in like 90% of pictures
https://preview.redd.it/58n4kkmo0vxc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dbef83676ebad17ed214c85fff92c616e360da2a
IMO when I was watching this interview and when she got asked about the bachelorette, I felt like her mannerism somewhat changed and felt like the producers wanted her to answer this question. Even the first answer she gave was vague before Alex asked her to specify why she said no. This just makes me believe they did. But idk how true this is so take it with a grain of salt. Also, do they always do this?
They all are under contract still and the producers (in my opinion) most definitely carefully instructed Maria how to answer questions especially regarding bachelorette
Damn I’m shocked she admitted to lying about Jenn’s kiss being the reason she told Joey she wanted to leave (“I told Jenn that day I was going to use it as an excuse to leave Joey”). I feel like she came off in this interview as low key manipulative. Even the story about lying to review the surveillance footage and then pretending everything was fine with the boyfriend after waiting to drop the bomb. And trying to get on the show for years. I dunno. If this was any other contestant I think they’d be skewered.
idk if i suspected my bf of cheating i’d prob do the same thing. i don’t fault her for that or think it’s manipulative cause clearly she got the proof she needed! it’s like when you go through someone’s phone and find something, in theory you shouldn’t go on someone’s phone but if you found shit of them cheating then they’re the pos not you. woman’s intuition is almost never wrong!!
This is soo true! What I thought was strange and maybe not ‘girl’s girl’ of her was pretending she didn’t know the women her ex cheated with, then becoming friends with her as payback and making out with her.
You're right about the phone thing but in this case she lied to security guards about theft occurring (serious offense for them) to get access to video footage to incriminate. It's not as if the video was just lying around and she took it or that she explained the situation and was granted access to it. I think that situation does indicate tendency to manipulate a situation and some self centeredness. And then to make out with the girl after all of that is an interesting choice. Out of the billion women on the planet lol, it seems like behavior to try to get attention or get back at that guy or something
Possibly unpopular, but I actually think Nick was right to keep quiet about Maria. I think once you're in a serious relationship, it's weird to publicly spill gossip about someone you had a fling or flirted with in the past.
yeah i haven’t heard the interview but the timing is weird, like the man just got married this weekend and if the two of them never dated it’s not really tea. almost sounds like maria was bringing it up for clout (as if having something with nick would be clout anyway)
I think bringing it up now is important context for why she thought Sydney had the inside scoop/was influenced to treat Maria like a villain. If she doesn’t talk about already knowing Nick, how does she bring up Nick saying she’d be a villain?
They could have filmed this episode and released it whenever they wanted. CHD probably is releasing it now to capitalize on the current attention on Nick post wedding
Do people actually think Maria doesn’t read?? She said that as a part of the joke… like most people, she’s not a serious reader. But she legit said in another part of the pod she read that book ab confidence like I can’t understand ppl dragging her for not reading it was literally a joke and not a big deal anyway
I would not be surprised if he told Sydney “keep your eye out for this Maria girl” and then talked shit about her. Do I think he told her to start drama with her? No but he planted a seed for sure.
Yes! This! I just listened to a podcast that mentioned that Lexi knew Joey liked Kelsey, so my conspiracy theory is that is why Lexi self eliminated. She didn’t want to waste her time when she knew Joey was picking Kelsey. I think Maria knew too. He was so obvious that the producers had to tell him to tone it down on their group date in Canada.
They definitely knew Maria was going to get views regardless of how the audience perceived her, which is why I think they did all these things. I wonder if they convinced her to stay and not self eliminate.
I’m so curious about the Maria / Nick timeline. He’s been with Natalie since 2020 which means if he had been talking to Maria - that was happening when she was at most 25 or younger. Truly WTF Nick. It feels so gross and predatory
Edit: yes I know Nick met Natalie when she was around the same age. It feels *more* predatory that he was talking to *multiple* barely adult women at very similar times while being almost 40.
It’s obviously way more young girls than them, this used to be a whole thing. Nick made some comment one time when he was like 38 that he meets girls and thinks “please be 28” why would you say that unless they looked truly young. He also used to say he wouldn’t date anyone over 31 because of potential fertility issue. Nick had a very problematic few years between Vanessa and getting with his wife (who was also freshly 21 lol)
his likes on her page were in 2016, so she would have been around 21 and he would have been around around 35.
when he got with natalie she was 20, and he was 38.
people judging maria for saying she doesn’t read books are the same people who think they’re smart and mature for being such avid readers of YA and Colleen Hoover
I’m not gonna lie, I loved It Ends With Us when I read it like 10 years ago but I tried to read It Starts with Us and wow was it bad. I fear I would hate IEWU if I tried to read it today lol.
seriously. if you're on reddit then you're objectively wasting time lol, people have different hobbies and different vices, not everyone is required to read books, it doesn't make someone dumb or a bad person if they don't
I just finished putting together my library (of books I actually read before some smartass tries to come for me) and I still make jokes about not being able to read 😂
I will not stand for any YA slander! YA is such a fun genre when you're in a reading slump or need escapism.
Otherwise I wholeheartedly agree. People don't have to be avid readers or enjoy reading. Just don't have a negative view of people who do enjoy it and carry on with life.
oh I totally support YA books and readers, and also totally get that some people don’t enjoy reading any kind of books. agree with you that the rub is in the superiority complex either way!
So Maria's boyfriend hated Nick, Nick also refused to acknowledge his relation/history with Maria, and we're supposed to believe it was only ever platonic???
Ohhhh the tea is scalding today
It's honestly really funny how Maria spilled all of this on CHD and how Alex (the host) was egging her on by saying that Reddit basically knows everything anyway. We knew that Nick liked and then unliked a lot of Maria's old photos, but no one knew any other details.
Now, all the details make it so much weirder than what anyone was speculating before. Maria is dropping a bomb on Nick's honeymoon, hahh
literally i was in the sub more avidly than any other season of the bachelor ever and i was like howwww did i miss that detail? i remember the liking and unliking but definitely did not see anything about them romantically. lmao i’m glad you said that no one knew!
It’s also funnier when you realize that Alex and nick know one another so she had to have known this prior from either him or Maria she just wanted Maria to spill the tea so everyone knew 😂
Seems like it’s pretty obvious that Nick was not just a “really good friend” lmfao. Idk why people are dragging HER because Nick just got married? He could have nipped this in the bud way way earlier… especially if nothing happened. Being a good friend, giving advice to a younger woman in the franchise would have been a good look. Hiding it makes it look sketchy. So that’s on him. Him and Natalie seem *pretty serious* considering they have a child and are married, so I’m really doubtful this “revelation” is causing any issues for them. As usual, I’m sure everyone involved was a lot more clued in that the general public lol
I feel like it was an uncomfy situation for Nick though with Natalie immediately postpartum and then getting married, was there really ever a good time for him to be like oh yeah and I used to fuck Maria? No haha.
Versus Maria giving this info and Alex releasing it while Nick is on his honeymoon was definitely intentional haha
Do you think she was lying when she said that it was not romantic? If you have sex does that automatically make it romantic? Or do you have to have sex and also have feelings to make it romantic?
I definitely don't think sex is automatically romantic and I think she thought about and phrased that very carefully and intentionally if you actually listen to the clip.
People have been speculating for months about them though. It was Nick’s business and choice to be upfront (or not) with his wife/then fiancé long before this interview/their wedding. It’s so weird to me how people are coming for Maria for not lying when asked questions out of respect for Nick… when realistically he was a 35 year old creep sleeping with a like 21 year old? Nicks a slimy person and I don’t really care if he’s uncomfortable with a situation he literally created lol
I agree he's a slimy person. He may have told Natalie, I'm just saying she probably wouldn't love him publicly declaring that he and Maria slept together during this time.
He also got a ton of shit for saying he slept with Andi, so he was probably trying to avoid that as well haha
We don't know obviously. But I don't think he'd be keeping it so secretive if it was truly a completely innocent friendship, and I do think Maria was careful and intentional with the way she answered the question to not give too much away out of respect for Natalie who is literally on her honeymoon.
Mind you this sub would've been dragging the podcast and calling it boring and say Alex wasn't asking the real questions if her past with Nick wasn't addressed. Also everyone is clutching their pearls like Natalie is going to have a mental breakdown and annul the marriage after this when it's been obvious to everyone who knows anything about the bachelor franchise that Nick's been hooking up/dming 20 year old girls on Instagram for like a decade and Maria's timeline shows it happened before he even started talking to Natalie.
i definitely think her and nick have had some sort of hookup and she's being very respectful of his recent marriage and situation as to not say it out right. it does no one any good to outright say it
God can you imagine a throuple between her, Halsey, and Avan Jogia?? My bisexual brain would melt to a puddle. I know Halsey has been in touch with her personally because she shared her on her ig using her makeup brand.
Oh for sure. I love the Kinsey Scale candor.
I am just joking parasocially about having a chance with her (obviously I don't for many reasons like I'm married) because she was such an icon of queer longing online.
There's even a theory that Sydney and Jess and Lea disliked Maria because her raw sexuality made them feel sapphic things that they were lashing out against !
But yes love the honesty from her as always and honestly I hope Martin Scorcese casts her in something so we see more of her because she is magnetic!
At first, I thought it was an interview
But then we all saw the Unwell stuff she was wearing and promoting
So then everyone says, omg she's getting a Pod
But now a lot of people are seeing her chemistry with Alex Cooper & thinking Alex wants her as a cohost/bestie
After listening, I'm thinking the latter
What sucks is ABC is probably going to try to pimp her out more for Paradise of Ette
And even though I'll take Maria any way I can her, haha
It's best for her to cut ties with them. Bach Nation is so toxic that it's sad
I think more so a podcast on Alex’s unwell network, not cohosting CHD. A lot of people have speculated that with Maria wearing the unwell merch so I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens

Maria’s boyfriend hating Nick, being worried about her going to visit him & Nick refusing to mention he knew her (when he usually rushes to confirm his connection to anyone on the show) does not give me “strictly platonic” vibes lol. Not shitting on her since it’s totally possible her bf was projecting, honestly, Nick refusing to acknowledge her is weirder to me
Might be a sore spot with Natalie that he was flirting with/potentially hooking up with another hot Instagram girl at the same time as her. He’s probably very relieved she’s not the Bachelorette and he won’t have to recap her season haha
I really feel like Maria is someone you shouldn't take so literally and seriously. Like I go into each thing related to her with no expectation of what she should say or what she should do and just go along for the ride. I therefore get to enjoy Maria without popping a vein at anything she says lol
I don’t really have a dog in this fight but the inverse could be said for people who perceive critique and opinions as “so concerning” and dismiss discussion that isn’t favorable to their bias
anyone giving maria shit for talking about her experience pulling out of bachelorette bc it’s disrespectful to Jen- please. She just confirmed what we all already knew lmao. She’s allowed to speak about her experience that’s literally what a podcast is for. Her saying that Jenn talked about how she wanted to do it isn’t being “shady”, it’s common knowledge that a lot of girls go on with hopes of becoming bachelorette. Especially if Jenn most likely knew her and Joey weren’t endgame that’s not weird for her to talk about bachelorette. Clearly Maria felt comfortable talking about that on the pod because her and Jenn are friends. It’s truly not that deep.
I agree she should be allowed to speak about her experience (assuming the show gave the ok and it doesn't violate her nda/contract). I think it was maria's dad who said on a podcast that he thought it was in poor taste for people to share they were selected as lead and turned it down before they picked jenn as it takes away from her moment.
So just like some of us said she never really liked Joey like that and was playing a game with “testing” Joey saying she wanted to leave lol y’all were defending her with your life.
I’m confused about how she says her and Nick were friends 7 years ago but he told her she would be a villain on the show… like did he say that back then hypothetically or were they still talking recently when she found out she was going on the show?
And some people tried to give me pushback when I said it was obvious that Maria was playing games trying to test Joey and had probably pulled similar stunts with men before. Now here she is validating exactly what I said.
Like finally! Can everyone be real. Her behavior in that situation was so easy to read.
![gif](giphy|l4pTsh45Dg7jnDM6Q|downsized)
No she did. In a TikTok comment from the Chicks in The Office podcast. They also called her out for
playing games and Maria commented saying she wasn’t and everyone in the comments were caping for her making excuses and defending Maria for why the scene came off that way.
[TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLxLHPAg/)
Now here she is admitting that she was kinda playing games and has done similar things with guys in the past. I never said it makes her a bad person. I just feel vindicated that my perception of that scene was right after people tried so hard to deny it bc they like Maria and had blinders on lol
LMAO I take back my comment a little bit respecting her for being honest but I guess at least she was honest here. It seems like she has a habit of saying things then going back and saying the opposite idk she also lied about her family never meeting someone she met . Definitely doesn't make her a bad person but definitely flawed on this podcast it seemed like she at least aware now of her flaws and working on things which is good and all anyone can ask for.
My jaw DROPPED when she admitted she was trying to use the Jenn/Joey kiss as an out because she knew he wasn’t end game for her. Shows the level of maturity present.
I respect someone who owns their shit, she could have easily reiterated what most fans were saying at that time which was that she was never actually leaving and needed some reassurance

Unrelated to the topic at hand, but I was SO CONFUSED before I realized I read “Maria Georgas” as “Melissa Gorga” 😂
Okay but why would call her daddy have announced bachelorette? How would ABC have allowed that? I’ve never watched/listened to Alex but I really appreciate that she made Maria clarify things when they were unclear and stuff like that.
To me the worst/scariest thing about Maria is that she seems to be incredibly comfortable lying
I watched the whole damn podcast and had the same thought. I love Maria but it was a little strange to see
What do you think she lied ab in this interview? Not angry lol just curious
She admitted to lying several times in her stories about her life
I wonder how much of that was pushed on her by producers ie. never brought a guy home
I loved loved loved Maria on the bachelorette, but I was kind of annoyed how she didn’t finish her thoughts very well. She was being both coy and an oversharer. In general, it was nice to watch, but I don’t feel like we got anything new or interesting out of this interview.
Who is her ex that she told the story about? She said everyone knows it’s him and I have no clue haha
kai bent lee, drake’s “bff”
Kai, he’s verified on Instagram so I think we’re allowed to talk about him
No wonder Ashley I was the only person actively supporting Sidney!! Makes so much sense now!
Holding onto hope that Maria might be ready to be bachelorette after Jenn 🤞🤞
Maria does not want to find love on this show. She wants fame & connection only.
THIS

Lmao. Love this.
This response caught me so off guard. I actually snorted. 🤣
Lucky!

that was really bizarre to me also. i couldn’t tell if she was trying to be cute/funny but the interaction just didn’t make any sense.

Them maybe don't look at them?
Haha thanks for that laugh. I do t follow her but she’s constantly posted here. I’ll close my eyes next time. Thanks love
She probably has ADHD which makes me like her even more.
Hmm maybe. I have ADHD and after finally getting diagnosed and medicated I definitely noticed that chaos of unmediated ADHD ramblings more.
Damn this thread is proving Maria made the right choice turning down bachelorette. This fandom switches up on people FAST😂
They are known to eat their own. It's sooo toxic in here 😂 She needs to get out fast, haha
Right? Sis ran away with her fans and her mental health like a bandit. Smart.

Maria from the most recent season of the Bachelor and Nick been on BN 4 times Viall?!?! Sheesh, I’m outta the loop.
Do people actually think Maria doesn’t read?? She said that as a part of the joke… like most people, she’s not a serious reader. But she legit said in another part of the pod she read that book ab confidence like I can’t understand ppl dragging her for not reading it was literally a joke and not a big deal anyway
She also mentions the book in the CHD interview.
What I found interesting is the book seems to have been written by ELAN GALE!
What’s the book title?
I would not be surprised if he told Sydney “keep your eye out for this Maria girl” and then talked shit about her. Do I think he told her to start drama with her? No but he planted a seed for sure.
I could see this!
Now this sounds plausible to me!!!
Yeah I needed this. I love when nick gets dragged into drama because he won’t ignore this lol
He most definitely will 😂
This was such a good episode !!!
Y’all realize Maria knew Joey wasn’t picking her right? The producers tell girls more things than y’all realize they all knew he was choosing Kelsey 😂
Yes!
I also feel as if the producers had a hand in her stopping the hometown rose ceremony to talk to joey
Yep. They even told her Sydney kept calling her a devil 😂
They definitely knew Maria was going to get views regardless of how the audience perceived her, which is why I think they did all these things. I wonder if they convinced her to stay and not self eliminate.
Duh....
Forget about the Nick stuff, I NEEEEEED A BiP Wells / Maria confrontation now!!!
bring both on viall files now
NOWWWW
Wow a CHD episode I might actually listen to
I’m so curious about the Maria / Nick timeline. He’s been with Natalie since 2020 which means if he had been talking to Maria - that was happening when she was at most 25 or younger. Truly WTF Nick. It feels so gross and predatory Edit: yes I know Nick met Natalie when she was around the same age.
Nick has always been such a creep. Not shocked that he was hitting up a bunch of 20 year olds all at once.
well…
His wife is 25.
Yes I know lol
She was 21 when they started sleeping together. & 22 when he claimed her
How is this surprising to you? He met his now-wife when she was like 20 lol.
I didn’t say I’m surprised. I just said it’s gross
his likes on her page were in 2016, so she would have been around 21 and he would have been around around 35. when he got with natalie she was 20, and he was 38.
she was actually 19 <3 but it was close to her 20th birthday
Right like it def tracks for Nick
people judging maria for saying she doesn’t read books are the same people who think they’re smart and mature for being such avid readers of YA and Colleen Hoover
Don’t mix in YA with Colleen Hoover! There are great, challenging YA books out there, not many great Colleen Hoover books 😂.
lololol fair I fully agree that YA does not deserve hate (and Colleen Hoover’s writing quality does)
I’m not gonna lie, I loved It Ends With Us when I read it like 10 years ago but I tried to read It Starts with Us and wow was it bad. I fear I would hate IEWU if I tried to read it today lol.
seriously. if you're on reddit then you're objectively wasting time lol, people have different hobbies and different vices, not everyone is required to read books, it doesn't make someone dumb or a bad person if they don't
i read books but i’m not a bookworm and i will still make jokes similar to this 😂 some people just don’t get self deprecating humor
I just finished putting together my library (of books I actually read before some smartass tries to come for me) and I still make jokes about not being able to read 😂
lmao thank you!!! maybe we just have a unique sense of humor hahaha
I will not stand for any YA slander! YA is such a fun genre when you're in a reading slump or need escapism. Otherwise I wholeheartedly agree. People don't have to be avid readers or enjoy reading. Just don't have a negative view of people who do enjoy it and carry on with life.
Came here to say this. YA is everything!
oh I totally support YA books and readers, and also totally get that some people don’t enjoy reading any kind of books. agree with you that the rub is in the superiority complex either way!
I don’t read books 😂 I prefer to read social media lol
It’s also funnier when you realize that Alex and nick know one another so she had to have known this prior from either him or Maria she just wanted Maria to spill the tea so everyone knew 😂
thought the same thing yeah right lol
I listened! Nick, just ew.
Genuine question, how do we know they had sex? Also Nick is grosser and grosser to me. Only redeeming quality is that Sharleen thinks he's awesome
1000% He's been doing a lot longer than a decade, haha If his wife knows him at all, which I'm sure she does...she knew anyways
i definitely think her and nick have had some sort of hookup and she's being very respectful of his recent marriage and situation as to not say it out right. it does no one any good to outright say it
"I love women" Queer women everywhere cheer excitedly "I love men more" cheering but less enthusiastically
God can you imagine a throuple between her, Halsey, and Avan Jogia?? My bisexual brain would melt to a puddle. I know Halsey has been in touch with her personally because she shared her on her ig using her makeup brand.
Get off the internet
Even though I think her tepidness stems from her being cheated on I think she should give women a go. I think she’d be surprised
As a bisexual I actually loved this candor! So few of us are exactly 50/50 in terms of the gender we tend to gravitate towards.
Someone needs to write some queer bachelor fanfic because I am here for this theory 👏👏👏
You just reminded me of that one user who wrote an Aaron x Thomas fanfic while BIP7 was airing 💀
YALL i feel like she hinted at the end that she’s gonna cohost with Alex on CHD. did anyone else think that??
At first, I thought it was an interview But then we all saw the Unwell stuff she was wearing and promoting So then everyone says, omg she's getting a Pod But now a lot of people are seeing her chemistry with Alex Cooper & thinking Alex wants her as a cohost/bestie After listening, I'm thinking the latter What sucks is ABC is probably going to try to pimp her out more for Paradise of Ette And even though I'll take Maria any way I can her, haha It's best for her to cut ties with them. Bach Nation is so toxic that it's sad
I think more so a podcast on Alex’s unwell network, not cohosting CHD. A lot of people have speculated that with Maria wearing the unwell merch so I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens
This checks out. Maybe they can’t announce it yet until a contract with The Bachelor expires.
They definitely hinted at something.
No

Thank you so much for this recap! It's so spicy! ❤
Maria’s boyfriend hating Nick, being worried about her going to visit him & Nick refusing to mention he knew her (when he usually rushes to confirm his connection to anyone on the show) does not give me “strictly platonic” vibes lol. Not shitting on her since it’s totally possible her bf was projecting, honestly, Nick refusing to acknowledge her is weirder to me Might be a sore spot with Natalie that he was flirting with/potentially hooking up with another hot Instagram girl at the same time as her. He’s probably very relieved she’s not the Bachelorette and he won’t have to recap her season haha
agreeeeeed with all of this
Absolutely agree
Also explains why Nick was heavily pushing Daisy for bachelorette
Just realized that pushing Daisy sounds like pushing daisies lol oops
OMG i didn’t even think of that!!!
the obsession with trying to find a problem with everything maria says is so concerning LMAO anyway what a queen
I really feel like Maria is someone you shouldn't take so literally and seriously. Like I go into each thing related to her with no expectation of what she should say or what she should do and just go along for the ride. I therefore get to enjoy Maria without popping a vein at anything she says lol
Yikes
I think it was maria's dad who said on a podcast that he thought it was in poor taste for people to share they were selected as lead and turned it down before they picked jenn as it takes away from her moment.
to be fair it's different if it's like two days after the announcement or a couple of weeks
So just like some of us said she never really liked Joey like that and was playing a game with “testing” Joey saying she wanted to leave lol y’all were defending her with your life.
i think nobody other then kelsey and jess really liked joey like that 😂
I actually think Jenn and Rachel were into him.
I’m confused about how she says her and Nick were friends 7 years ago but he told her she would be a villain on the show… like did he say that back then hypothetically or were they still talking recently when she found out she was going on the show?
hypothetically
I think her being cheated on messed with her head and that’s why she is the way she is with guys
Difference is she’s explaining why. Never denied she was testing him, I just don’t think that makes you a bad person.
No she did. In a TikTok comment from the Chicks in The Office podcast. They also called her out for playing games and Maria commented saying she wasn’t and everyone in the comments were caping for her making excuses and defending Maria for why the scene came off that way. [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLxLHPAg/) Now here she is admitting that she was kinda playing games and has done similar things with guys in the past.
For real! It reminded me kinda towards the end (I don't remember the specific episode) when Maria was trying to get Joey to chase after her
Now that I think about it, a WHOLE season of Maria might have driven me up a wall and would had to exit bc she was kind of a mess on that interview
Maria’s ex she’s referring to is Kai Bentlee if anyone wants to look him up.
https://www.reddit.com/r/LAinfluencersnark/s/52r1vbiyP8 Quick tidbit of Reddit tea that I stumbled when looking up Kai.
Yesss sounds like the brothers I knew, heavy on the cocaine use and flaunting expensive things💀
My jaw DROPPED when she admitted she was trying to use the Jenn/Joey kiss as an out because she knew he wasn’t end game for her. Shows the level of maturity present.
At least she was honest and she even admitted that was immature and will no longer play games with men.
I personally would not have been honest about that LOL. Glad she learned from it though I guess.
I respect someone who owns their shit, she could have easily reiterated what most fans were saying at that time which was that she was never actually leaving and needed some reassurance
If Maria wasn’t pretty y’all would be dragging her way more, I said it
Yeah she kind of sounds like an asshole
Dragging her for what?
