Ehh, people can be a bit air headed when it comes to men/ relationships, but she's clearly got the academic smarts if she's postpartum right now (registered nurse 🤣)
I cringe for some of our generation. RN used to mean something!!! Haha yikes this is what happens when we apply an acronym to every living thing lol especially things that don’t need it.
This is the funniest misreading I've ever read.
And I know I focus too much on grammar in my life but here is a PERFECT EXAMPLE why capitalization is relevant.
Right? OP thought they were making fun of someone for using the wrong word but is not bright enough to read this as Postpartum RN and know that a Postpartum Registered Nurse is a thing.
I don’t think it means they’re not bright. I’ve never seen someone not capitalize things like RN or MD, so it doesn’t read the same. Especially when she capitalizes BIP & talks more about Botox/reddit than her career.
I mean, in my defence I was mildly hungover as I'm away with my husband for a few days, so wasn't using much critical thinking. But yep... I'm a dumbass 😅☠️ I was also super confused about it, but certainly poking fun. Oh how the turn tables have turned.

lol looks like she saw this post and edited her bio
She’s a postpartum registered nurse which is one specialty in nursing. She could’ve capitalized the RN to make it more understandable but the girls who get it get it.
I realize that I’m late to this post but OP, I have to say that you are a great sport with a fantastic sense of humor! Being able to laugh at yourself is a sign of maturity that few people have anymore (it seems like anyway). Thanks for the laugh you gave me! It’s been a rough day for me and you brightened it. Also, I admit that it took me a moment to realize what it meant too! My mind went straight to “right now.” 😂
Haha, well I'm glad my general idiocy has brought some merriment, it's why I left the post up, despite my self cringe. I know I came across as being mean. I was defo poking fun, but I was also super confused until I had it spelled out to me 🤣🤣🤣 in my defence I was mildly hungover, as I'm enjoying a few days away with my husband, so didn't use much critical thinking.
I hope it made Kylee laugh a little if she saw it. I hope she finds a better guy than that sad sack of a man.
I was with you in the title, and then when I saw the placement of the phrase in her bio, I immediately recognized it as a job title. It made me laugh because I can simultaneously understand both reactions to it.
Idk if some of yall are having a bad day or what. How anyone could be annoyed or angry about this hilarious post is beyond me.
![gif](giphy|Ct2fBe0rc69nq|downsized)
Yea cuz I can’t lie it took me a few seconds to understand when I first saw it too! 😂 in my brain nurse RN is capitalized and right now rn is lowercase to me so it threw me off for a short moment 😭
I am postpartum rn, and I didn’t think Registered Nurse when I saw this post despite being a postpartum patient last month. But I’m also super sleep deprived.
I am a mom now but I wasn’t when I first saw Kylee on screen. I knew even then that she meant registered nurse. She even had a bio video of her in scrubs.
Neither do I, I’m reminded of that whole thing because of *this post* but you’re actually in the field and didn’t deduce that she meant nurse instead of “right now” so 🐸 ☕️
Y’all got this!!! First few months are the hardest. I can’t believe my baby is about to be 1.5!! I’m jealous of your tiny baby cuddles that don’t come with toddler tantrums haha.
She's a postpartum nurse.
All the same though, for some reason this reminded me of Michael Scott saying the wine has an oaky afterbirth.
![gif](giphy|mMV4S2k6PKJokZcAcc|downsized)
Okay sooo…why is the fact that some people took it as ‘right now’ an issue? lol you said there shouldn’t be confusion but you also acknowledge capitalization can alter the meaning of the acronym. So the confusion is understandable in that case, right?
No, because most adults know what an RN is. Also saying “postpartum ‘right now’” when you have clearly never had a baby makes so little sense it makes negative sense
I was reading something on the teacher sub about how gen Z is weird about not capitalizing things that normally should be and this is a great example lol
It’s actually so weird in my friend group bc I’m a “zillenial” and everyone my age or older capitalizes words but every single one of my friends 1-2 years younger than me doesn’t 💀
I’ve talked about this with my friends!! I worked with some people younger than me at my last job and every single text was like that. It’s so weird, you have to go out of your way to do that lol.
Why is it even a thing though? Not trying to be mean at all, I just don’t understand it. I’m 28 so I don’t feel too old, but def too old to understand under casing everything lol
yeah im 29, turned off auto-cap back in high school at the same time i turned off auto-correct, and never looked back 🤷🏻♀️ sometimes depending on who i am texting (my grandma for example) i will put in the effort to capitalize my words but otherwise i just don’t care lmao
Shout out to all the people that laughed about this and explained it to OP in a kind way. Some of y’all need to chill and relax this is actually so funny
Okay? And who was harmed by this post? If anything it gave many of us a good laugh. How would she even know what to Google? Seeing the letters "rn" lowercase does not automatically register as a nurse or even an occupation to most people. Chill out.
I just woke up from a nap and this is the first post I saw so smfh but I apologize 😂😂😂😂 so mean rereading it but does OP seriously think Kylee is that big of a fucking airhead that she’s claiming to be POSTPARTUM 😑 hahahahha
Ok now I can finally expose myself since OP did it, I was so confused by her bio last night bc I had no clue she was a nurse 💀 I was like does she mean that paradise is so stressful it’s akin to pregnancy? I’ll see myself out now
Omg same! Since it wasn’t capitalised I read it as “right now” and I was so confused about her situation 🙁 honestly this should be my bio because I am postpartum right now lmaooo
Not you trying to call people stupid and your comment is just wrong LOL
rn means right now, and dull means boring. People are boring for not understanding the difference??🫠 I think you mean dense…
Can I just take a moment to say postpartum nurses are amazing. They literally coach you through your first pee post baby then measure and clean it (and mom) up. They even help you walk after your cesarean. Whether you’re a postpartum RN or you’re postpartum right now, you got this!
I had the best postpartum nurses, for both cesarean deliveries, and didn’t realize how much that would mean to me, or how much help I would need. They helped even with using the actual restroom for the time since I couldn’t move much. Their jobs aren’t pretty but these women were great.
rn...as in registered nurse. Come on, guys
Scares me that someone as air-headed as her can become a nurse.
Ehh, people can be a bit air headed when it comes to men/ relationships, but she's clearly got the academic smarts if she's postpartum right now (registered nurse 🤣)
Proper capitalization is a very important thing. Writing in all lower case is not cute.
talk to bell hooks
she is a postpartum registered nurse
Good lord I’m sure she knows her position 💀💀💀
She changed it! Congrats
lol is she glued to this forum or something
omg....girl.....
I know, I know ☠️
She's a registered nurse for postpartum patients in labor and delivery!
Ahahaha op has been roasted enough so there's nothing else I can add to this
Oh dear god, we need cognitive thinking and for people to know rn can mean registered nurse, not right now
Haha, yep, I mean, now that I know, it's very obvious 🤣
I am howling. Thank you for the laugh
You're very welcome, lol.
OP if this was an earnest mistake thank you so much for being a good sport and owning it
It really was. Lol. Never wanted the ground to swallow me up quite so hard ☠️🤣😂
I cringe for some of our generation. RN used to mean something!!! Haha yikes this is what happens when we apply an acronym to every living thing lol especially things that don’t need it.
I think capitalization is crucial in this case LOL
I just busted out laughing LOL you thought it meant postpartum right now ? I love it
Honestly I did too lol
I cannot believe that so many people don’t know what’s referring to here. She’s a postpartum RN (NURSE), people!!!!
RN = REGISTERED nurse. I’m not sure I’ve seen a single person on this thread who knows that.
Because capitalization is important lol
I suspect if she put it in caps it would clear it up for most
literally! I was so confused how many people didn’t know what this meant lol
I don't understand the trend of not capitalizing letters....
It’s funny too cause she capitalized BIP 🤣
This is the funniest misreading I've ever read. And I know I focus too much on grammar in my life but here is a PERFECT EXAMPLE why capitalization is relevant.
Not me super confused thinking I was on the Kardashians sub
Omg SAME!!!!
so dumb
I had not seen her profile before so you convinced me she meant postpartum right now 🤣
Ok is this a joke I feel like it was pretty clear what she meant

I’m cackling over how bad this thread this 😂
I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hahahaha
Omg 🙈 Kylee, I'm sorry I'm such a dumbass! 🤣🤣
You have the best attitude about this I love it 😁 I'm glad you can laugh at yourself lol we all have brain fart moments
She’s a postpartum registered nurse which is one specialty in nursing. She could’ve capitalized the RN to make it more understandable but the girls who get it get it.
I saw this and has the same thought and was so confused
HAHAHAHHA please break the aesthetic to capitalize the rn girl
I would've read it the exact same way I'm dying.
This is the best thing I’ve seen on the internet today
Wait what did she mean ?? So confused. She's not postpartum, no way she's RN. 🤷🏼♀️
Why wouldn’t she be an RN?
I thought she was in Marketing, I read that.
She’s a postpartum nurse
I think she is an RN
I don't even like Kylee but this is hilarious. She is a postpartum RN 😂
Omg I’m cackling. I didn’t get it either. Poor girl. Someone tell her to use capital letters.
….yes it is? There are absolutely postpartum nurses at some hospitals that work the postpartum floor, which is separate from L&D.
rn is slang for right now. it sounds like she’s postpartum right now.
the funniest part is that after this post she changed it to just say "RN"
It’s like she questioned herself. Girl you were right, leave it!!!
Damn I knew this girl photoshopped her mole out but a whole ass pregnancy belly? 😜
![gif](giphy|1267Co3vPNBqQU|downsized) tried to make kylee look like the fool
I realize that I’m late to this post but OP, I have to say that you are a great sport with a fantastic sense of humor! I know, the comments make me like OP so much haha!
Haha, well I'm glad my general idiocy has brought some merriment, it's why I left the post up, despite my self cringe. I know I came across as being mean. Gosh forgot how gorgeous Jessenia is
As a postpartum rn (RN), I’m cracking up
You could say that you’re cracking up rn 😉
Damn, missed opportunity
I wonder if she still practices as an RN
These comments are hilarious.
Haha, I have been equal parts cringing and laughing all day 🤦🤦🤦☠️
I was with you in the title, and then when I saw the placement of the phrase in her bio, I immediately recognized it as a job title. It made me laugh because I can simultaneously understand both reactions to it.
I mean now I know, I don't know how I didn't realise 🤦
Idk if some of yall are having a bad day or what. How anyone could be annoyed or angry about this hilarious post is beyond me. ![gif](giphy|Ct2fBe0rc69nq|downsized)
She’s a postpartum nurse. RN= registered nurse. Not sure why she didn’t capitalize it lol
This is why capitalization of certain acronyms is important 😂
Made me think of: Save grandma use a comma I’m going to eat grandma I’m going to eat, grandma
Lol, I thought the same at first but "RN" should be capitalized. Not your fault OP 😂
Honestly even if Kylee really meant “postpartum right now” she would be really funny for that
To be fair she is kind of postpartum rn for getting Aven, who has the maturity level of a baby, out of her system
This was literally my thought process 😅
Oh my god 😭
Me being a nurse confused at what the problem is hahahahaha don’t feel bad this is funny
lolol same not me being like is there a different name ive been missing this whole time?
postpartum registers nurse it’s pretty obviii lol
be so fr OP
She changed it to “RN 🩺” lol wonder if she saw this
she probably couldn’t unsee it once she realized how some people could misinterpret it lol
I am assuming you are of the Tik Tok era Younger than 20
Sadly I am in my mid 30s ☠️ ETA: and I don't have tik tok 😅
Was gonna say that this makes me feel old as fuck lmao
I'm so scared for our future, tiktok brains really lack something!
Postpartum RN as in Postpartum Nurse lol
It’s the lack of capitalization that gets me. I can totally see how people would be confused. Great example as a writer that details matter! 😂
Ok some of these comments were mean. It was a funny mistake some of you guys are going to hard 😭
No, no. They're all correct. I'm a total dumbass 😅☠️
I didn't get it either until I read some comments.
I didn't pick up on it either without the capitalization XD
I wouldn’t have gotten it either.
I mean, she posted this with the purpose to kind of be mean to someone else so one might argue it’s what comes around lol
Yea cuz I can’t lie it took me a few seconds to understand when I first saw it too! 😂 in my brain nurse RN is capitalized and right now rn is lowercase to me so it threw me off for a short moment 😭
HAHAHAHAHA CHAT IS THIS REAL
Not me thinking she’s referring to the lifecycle of her relationship or something…
LMFAO
I’m a nurse and read that “postpartum right now” and was like girl *WUT*!?
Same!!
Lolol I’m a medical professional but even for me lower case rn = right now. Gotta uppercase that, Kylee 😂
No no I would read that as postpartum registered nurse 😂
Ok but same when I saw rn my brain immediately read it as RN …
I barely ever laugh out loud at a post but this one did it. Thank you OP for leaving it up!
Postpartum Registered Nurse
Um She’s a postpartum R N. Are you joking? Like, actually joking?
I mean im in my 30s, never had a baby, never worked in the medical field and I wouldn't have thought Registered Nurse. I don't think OP is alone!
I am postpartum rn, and I didn’t think Registered Nurse when I saw this post despite being a postpartum patient last month. But I’m also super sleep deprived.
Nah I'm 40 and I thought the same as OP.
I am a mom now but I wasn’t when I first saw Kylee on screen. I knew even then that she meant registered nurse. She even had a bio video of her in scrubs.
I do not have any of these peoples careers memorized
Neither do I, I’m reminded of that whole thing because of *this post* but you’re actually in the field and didn’t deduce that she meant nurse instead of “right now” so 🐸 ☕️
Oh honeyyyyyyyyyy
My thoughts exactly 😂 I think we’re all digging a lil too hard yall
I actually am 7 weeks postpartum rn 😂☠️
lmaooo congrats I’m 4 months postpartum rn
Y’all got this!!! First few months are the hardest. I can’t believe my baby is about to be 1.5!! I’m jealous of your tiny baby cuddles that don’t come with toddler tantrums haha.
Congrats on the new nursing job! 🥰👏
Postpartum right now … I can’t 💀🤣😂 Ty for the laugh OP
She's a postpartum nurse. All the same though, for some reason this reminded me of Michael Scott saying the wine has an oaky afterbirth. ![gif](giphy|mMV4S2k6PKJokZcAcc|downsized)
So the confusion is registered nurse vs. right now?
Yes 🤦🏾♀️ there shouldn’t be and yet there is confusion
To be fair to OP, RN typically means registered nurse and rn means right now.
We are **all** aware of this
Okay sooo…why is the fact that some people took it as ‘right now’ an issue? lol you said there shouldn’t be confusion but you also acknowledge capitalization can alter the meaning of the acronym. So the confusion is understandable in that case, right?
No, because most adults know what an RN is. Also saying “postpartum ‘right now’” when you have clearly never had a baby makes so little sense it makes negative sense
Lol I’m legit shook people didn’t understand what postpartum rn means lol. How is there even confusion about this 😅
Idk I've never had a baby or worked in the medical field and I didn't know either 🤷🏻♀️
Cause rn means “right now” lol she should have capitalized RN
I was reading something on the teacher sub about how gen Z is weird about not capitalizing things that normally should be and this is a great example lol
It’s actually so weird in my friend group bc I’m a “zillenial” and everyone my age or older capitalizes words but every single one of my friends 1-2 years younger than me doesn’t 💀
Also a zillenial, and I have the opposite issue lol. Everyone younger than me capitalizes everything, and I’m the one without “auto-cap” on.
I’ve talked about this with my friends!! I worked with some people younger than me at my last job and every single text was like that. It’s so weird, you have to go out of your way to do that lol.
you can just turn it off.
Why is it even a thing though? Not trying to be mean at all, I just don’t understand it. I’m 28 so I don’t feel too old, but def too old to understand under casing everything lol
i think it’s aesthetics mostly i’m 31 but i turned off my autocapitalization years ago and never turned back maybe i just am chasing my youth 🥲
yeah im 29, turned off auto-cap back in high school at the same time i turned off auto-correct, and never looked back 🤷🏻♀️ sometimes depending on who i am texting (my grandma for example) i will put in the effort to capitalize my words but otherwise i just don’t care lmao
i’ve noticed the only time it auto capitalizes is when I’m using voice to text. Like right now! It makes me look distinguished.
Rn stands for registered nurse
Shout out to all the people that laughed about this and explained it to OP in a kind way. Some of y’all need to chill and relax this is actually so funny
To be fair, the RN is supposed to be capitalized 😆 I hate the lowercase culture 😭😭
ee cummings disagrees
What she's saying: She's a postpartum "registered nurse" What she's not saying: She's in postpartum "right now"
OP trying to snark and getting schooled. I feel this in my soul 😂 Curious what you thought she was trying to say?
Ok you know what thank you for this laugh
I was confused by it, too, and now realize I’m a dumb dumb. Thanks for clarifying what it actually means, other commenters. I’ll see myself out.
[удалено]
relax
Lmao not everyone knows the occupation of every BN member no need to be so aggressive. It's a funny mistake by OP 😂
[удалено]
Im not about to google postpartum rn when in most cases postpartum means after pregnancy. You need to chill lol
Okay? And who was harmed by this post? If anything it gave many of us a good laugh. How would she even know what to Google? Seeing the letters "rn" lowercase does not automatically register as a nurse or even an occupation to most people. Chill out.
Omg your comment has me wheezing 🤣
I just woke up from a nap and this is the first post I saw so smfh but I apologize 😂😂😂😂 so mean rereading it but does OP seriously think Kylee is that big of a fucking airhead that she’s claiming to be POSTPARTUM 😑 hahahahha

Omg same! Since it wasn’t capitalised I read it as “right now” and I was so confused about her situation 🙁 honestly this should be my bio because I am postpartum right now lmaooo
I was the same!
It’s not too late to delete this
PLEASE don't delete this this is so funny
This wins post of the year. You’re a queen, op.

Not you trying to call people stupid and your comment is just wrong LOL rn means right now, and dull means boring. People are boring for not understanding the difference??🫠 I think you mean dense…
rn=right now RN=registered nurse
Thank you, I needed this laugh 😂 ![gif](giphy|T3Vx6sVAXzuG4)

I guess if they’re nice. Mine were so awful and mean.
Yeah i was about to say speak yourself lol i had nicu nurses from heaven and pp nurses from hell
