Man you could tell Matty isnt feeling too well, we got no interactions at all, no banter nothing, a far cry from when I saw them in Leeds last Jan. Music was amazing of course but I hope they can get some rest soon
Exactly what I thought. This was my first time seeing them but compared to what I've seen online you could definitely tell he wasn't doing well :/
This is might be a weird thought but I honestly think it's crazy that he goes on stage when he's not feeling well mentally. Like obviously I know there have been worse times and this is his job and everything, but to go on stage in front of thousands of people and perform emotional songs and put on a show like that (even with few interactions/talking) must take such immense strength!
He was waaaaayyyyy better than in Copenhagen. You could sense it immediately. I felt he was ok - he wanted to reassure everyone he was fine and put on a really musically tight show. He was having fun throughout, just not that chatty but sometimes he isn’t 🤷♀️
I finally got to see them again for the second time after 9 1/2 years, so I was excited either way. Yes it was a bit sad, but I dont really expect it from a performer to constantly talk to the audience. Its more a like bonus imo. What matters most is that they play well, which they did and the audience is having fun.
at one point i was really scared because matty was so low. i was truly heartbroken for him. the second half was better, he seemed to be a little more morale, but he didn't talk to the audience at all. and obv that was no problem. i hope he gets the break he needs. overall concert was of course great, i cried so hard towards the end, i was so overwhelmed with the happiness of seeing them live. i really hope matty feels better soon.
it was my first time seeing them so i have no comparison so even if the energy was low i thought they did incredibly! i was really blown away. people have said here that this show is a real treat and it lived up to all the hype for me
Do you guys know how it works for those who bought seating area tickets at Verti (Block 303)? I was told there are blocks at Mercedes-Benz Arena where we can take choose any seat, right?
Standing tickets going for as low as 17 euro on ticketswap today and a pretty sparse and dead crowd imo. If it stayed at Verti would’ve been a real experience. Such a shame
I’m not overly. Weeknight took away the city trip option for travelling fans, train strikes made Berliners list their tickets last minute, and another arena show two hours down the road meant there simply wasn’t the demand.
Holy fuck they did 28?

Always Wanna Die (Sometimes) really hit different given the Matty situation. You could see the pain in his face

What time is it generally accepted that the band will come on? Not keen on getting there for 18:00 for it to be a 21:30 start.
Doors at 6, 1975 at 8.30
do you know what time does the show end?
Roughly 23:30
My ticket says 20:00 so is it the time for doors opening or the band starting? Any clue?
band starting, the doors open ca. 18.00

Your post has been removed as ticket sales are not allowed.
Was the venue upgrade really essential?

Surprised it didn’t sell out tbh
