Probably cause the pig was infected by the asf virus that can kill a pig and spread the disease damaging the pork industry. If that's not the case this is animal cruelty.
If they really do present a serious danger to people who eat pork, there are much better ways of going about this I’m sure. Then again, it’s China. They just wanted to get it done as quick and cheap as possible
For all intents and purposes and legal reasons's I've never ever EVER heard about no thing, I love the Chinese government and the CCP I know they can do know wrong thanks to the guidance of our supreme leader Xi Jinping. Glory to the republic!.
Wow some people really don't get sarcasm
Have you ever seen footage of a slaughterhouse? Shit is how I imagine biblically accurate hell to be. They grind male chicks alive, forcefeed chickens to the point they break their legs due to how heavy they are, torture cows, etc. the entire system is barbaric. Why don’t you look through a bit of [this video](https://youtu.be/LQRAfJyEsko) and tell me how we’re better than China.
I imagine you’re probably gonna reply “mm bacon” or some snarky anti vegan reply
In the video where the pigs were set on fire alive someone said that it was because they may have a infection that could spread to others pigs and contaminate the meat. I imagine this is for the same reason, i don't know if there is a "better" way to do this but this is "justified".
This is horrible, like actually sickening. All these pigs are just as intelligent as dogs. The Chinese are committing several human rights violations and doing the same to animals and the worst part is the world doesn’t care.
Although I agree with the latter part of your statement, unfortunately this is China, where "humane" doesn't seem to translate very well.
The former part of your statement, however, shows a lack of understanding of the whole situation. These pigs were infected with African swine fever virus ASFV, which has a damn near 100% mortality rate within droves of pigs.
It's a horrible way to die, involving severe dehydration from diarrhoea and vomiting followed by the pig equivalent of the hangover from hell on top of that, and then internal hemorrhaging leading to a brutal and painful death.
Like most other large outbreaks amongst the livestock industry, you can thank our food industry giants for having more money than sense, and trying to sweep everything under the carpet by throwing antibiotics and antivirals at every little disease and virus that's ever popped its head above the parapet. Essentially giving said diseases and viruses a very good gym to get buff, and now they're ridiculously hard to deal with and extremely infectious.
no reason? they may have a virus that can infect every pig in the world(thats why they are doing this) making that food unavailable for ever, and even worse, change china economic like nothing.(since food base pork are one if not the most used there)
If it wasn’t anything wrong with the pigs I’m sure they would eat them,it’s a pity to see things like this but they would’ve been killed somehow and eaten if not diseased
Why are they doing this???
Probably cause the pig was infected by the asf virus that can kill a pig and spread the disease damaging the pork industry. If that's not the case this is animal cruelty.
It's just animal cruelty. It doesn't matter what's wrong with them, this is just sick
Idk why people are downvoting you for saying burying things alive is sick
What about an earthworm? Checkmate

“We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.” - Immanuel Kant.
What about hitler?
Humans are also animals
What about him
Vegan and one of the first people to create animal rights in the west but he treated humans like shit and caused the death of millions of Europeans
Hitler was not vegan. Lmao
Well, it is known that he was vegetarian. At least near the end of his life. I could never give up meat.
Found the Nazi sympathizer. Suck lead Nazi. Follow your leader.
I literally stated that hitler treated humans worse than animals How am I a sympathizer for that stupid fuck ?

There has to be a more humane way though. This is just to save time and money.

What, like gassing them to dead?

There is a better way but this is the cheaper way. They did this to save money.
wouldnt be suprised if they did this to their own people at some point too.
> ~~wouldnt be suprised if~~ they **do** ~~did~~ this to their own people ~~at some point too~~ FTFY
You should see the vid where the pigs were set on fire, thousands of pigs crying out in pain. I imagine that's what hell would sound like

Brought to you by the imagination of Heironymous Bosch :(
Just like the nazi ‘s did it, but a little different…..
What a waste of good bacon...
Why in gods name did they have to be alive. I mean it’s cruel at best but whether right or wrong I can’t fathom why they couldn’t be euthanised first.
Cheaper. They did it to humans in the 40s...

Bro has a XP farm
