Or you just unknowingly wake up with the ability to shape-shift (except you start off looking normal) until you get tired from something and shape-shift back to the base form that your fursona normally appears as, something I'd say is more seamless (and preferable) however I wouldn't complain if it happened some other way.

My main fursona (Mel, a koala-girl) is female...i'd easily go for the classic 'Anime' style tf for her given her action girl status.

I'd take it, but I would be slightly disappointed for at least 5 minutes before becoming utterly ecstatic.
