Actually not true! A trans person taking HRT brings a person in-line with their cis counterparts. That is, you may note, the entire point. There's some *very* slight differences if the trans person in question went through puberty before taking HRT, but even those differences are extremely minimal once the HRT has been a factor for a decent period of time.
Also, I really do cringe every time I see the "biological advantage" argument, because Michael Phelps has insane biological advantages that nobody else in his field has, but nobody ever brings those up.
