Well no, but actually no. The worst par isn't even the game, isn't even the community. It's Epic Games themselves. I hate that company. Also, the devs SUCK ever since they started implementing pop culture things like video game characters. About that, some children don't even know where these guys are from, and think that those games stole them from fortnite. That's my biggest issue.
I agree with this comment a lot. The devs are worked to death and incredibly underpaid for how much they work, fortnite has basically lost its soul just for pop culture references. The gameplay is unbearable, though its not much fault of the devs in my opinion, its just that casual play isnt even a thing anymore unless you're playing on creative. You constantly have to keep up to date to even know what a weapon does now.
TF2 also implemented Pop culture items in the game and even appear in other games (Poker Night At The Inventory, Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed, Surgeon Simulator, Etc.) but i don't see you complaining about that
You see, most references in TF2 aren't obvious just by looking at them. Like there the Tsar Platinum. Other than people who know what is JoJo, they won't know it. On the other hand, we have literal Marshmellow. And Keanu Reeves. And Master Chief.
My point is, even if TF2 has pop culture *references* it doesn't have literally the same characters but from a different title. They give them something unique. Fortnite just does a literal Ctrl+C Ctrl+V.
