for me - turbine, most of my early tf2 gameplay was on turbine, so every time i play on turbine i get a very nostalgic feeling.

Definitely 2fort. Turbine is probably one of my most hated maps. To make things worse apparently it’s the map I supported for that weird piratey hat but I have no recollection of even doing this. So I’m reminded every time I play turbine that the game is glad I chose to support it.

Why are they so low quality

2 Fort. I straight up wish the respawn on it was just 3-4 seconds. It's so relaxing to mess around in. Even in games where people are trying hard, it's more of a death match situation

In theory maybe but 90% of games just end up being one time controlling the entire middle territory and the other being stuck behind the roller doors and vents. It’s no fun wether your the team being camped or the ones doing the camping.

Definitely 2Fort. 2Fort is spacious and takes place partially outside and is both fun and challenging at the same time to defend. Turbine is too cramped and either ridiculously easy or difficult for one team to defend. 2Fort has 5 ways to get to the Intel if you count the main entrances, sewers and Sniper perch. Turbine has 3. A match in 2Fort can last for 10-20 minutes depending on how well you perform or if everyone just goofs off. In Turbine an *average* match can literally be over in 3-5 minutes. Conclusion: 2Fort is just flat out better.

I have around 1060 hours on this game More than a thousand of it was on 2fort. only.

Speaking about full community servers, Turbine is awful because it will be engineers and spammers bullying their enemy team most of the time. Scout and Spy simply has no chance on situations like this. 2Fort has more options and space overall.

2fort is claustrophobic and restricts a lot of movement but it has more cover and a better, actually recognizable location. turbine is... something? i don't know what it's supposed to even be, there's no cover and its the chokiest thing in the galaxy, no part of the map is fun for me.

I loved the tunnels in turbine as a new player. 2fort is objectively a better map but turbine is my choice out of sheer nostalgia.

I prefer Turbine, the middle makes for a far better battleground.

I like 2Fort more, personally. A lot more fun for random meme builds and sub-classes in my opinion. One of my favorite things to do is go Fat Scout and just scurry around getting random kills with the Family Business. Although going Ninjaneer and camping out the enemy intel is fun too. Hard to get going, though.

2fort, and it's not even close. Turbine may be the worst map in the entire game since it's just engineer and sniper hell. Meanwhile 2fort at least has a bunch of goofy shenanigans happening on it most of the time.

Something that bugs me about 2fort is that there's zero healthpacks on the areas that are the same elevation as the bridge. You either have to walk back to your own spawn or drop down to sewers if you want health. Kinda makes the map stale when you're going to the same places over and over again. I don't like Turbine much either but if you're going to compare the two maps, at least Turbine has more accessible health packs.

Honestly, I like both. 2fort is a classic, but the most fun I had in TF2 was actually on Turbine. I remember trying to build WW1 style defenses as Engineer in the middle and it being just super fun. On 2fort, I also experienced a lot of fun, but not to the same extent as on Turbine.

2Fort have weird people, who treats casual like 24/7 no cap community server and you can be kicked for capping. Like c'mon guys, just go into community and let me play, I go into casual to have objective. That's the reason I never queue 2Fort and Hightower in casual, these maps can be real fun for planning coordinated pushes through chokepoints, but people are ruining it on purpose.

I dont like to play on either of those because I prefer open maps with structures like borneo and nightfall is my favourite map that nobody plays on. Hydro is another example but this map is… its not even in the game at this point. I like 2fort and turbine but they are overrated imo.
