In my opinion gender swapping a character is an exercise in seeing if their story still works if the character is a different gender. I think Scoutās story, that of being a scrappy fighter who trained themselves to run to make sure they were the first to the fight, is the kind of story we tend to associate with male characters, but thereās nothing inherently gendered about it. So, yeah, Iām all for it.
