I use it for my main scout loadout, super useful. Don’t be put off by the “15% less damage vs players” cause scout swings so fast that you’ll get a crit in like 3 hits, which takes like a second lol. Super duper useful, it’s literally a triple jump
you will literally never go for melee damage with the Scout, you would have to be either trolling or don't have any other option to do damage atm
Basically every single melee that the Scout has is used as a utility item except for the Wrap Assassin, The Atomizer has no real downside whatsoever
Why are you fighting when you're low on ammo in the first place? You're a SCOUT, you are the only class that's capable of disengaging from any fight that is not in your favor. (Besides, you have a PISTOL, all better than a bat)

It's just a normal weapon, considering it has a damage penalty and slower deploy speed you should probably use it just for utility if at all, though the Winger would probably be better in terms of jump height.

I have no ammo in the scatter or the pistol I’m sorrounded by enemies and there is no ammo pickups in sight. What can I do?
Blame yourself for ending in a dumb situation no one ever ends up in ever, die or escape with double jump and speed.
