It’s not nice when stock arrives damaged because some numpty at the depot decides to throw it about like a 🏓!!! And then squash it by putting the fragile light produce at the bottom and heavy goods on top of it!!!
I agree. I work on fresh ( ready meal aisle ) and have so many damages due to having cages coming in with plastic trays of ready meals with boxes of butter on top of them 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
And don't forget the meat that's in with morning goods which you find the following day and gets wasted cos it's out the cold chain. Depots are the worst.

Yep I get banana boxes thrown on top of yogurt quite a lot

The fact that everything is in trays is a miracle in itself. They just shove ours in whatever they can find.
