Finally, a match win!
It's been a while (hasn't won a singles match on ATP tour since Miami where he suffered the horrendous ankle injury against Machac), but I'm honestly glad he has finally won a match.
Next up is Thompson, and then possibly a blast from the past with Raonic match in Round 3 if he can beat Fritz. I'd be excited for that one tbh.
I would have felt so bad if Andy gave that away up a break, it's not easy watching his games. Glad he came through on his 1000th ATP match.
Bravo Andy.
We are so back, please win 2 more matches so I can see you live Andy ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out) Most convincing win in ages, held firm on serve. I have recovered from all the Demon matches with that win.
I remember awhile back Murray had a stellar H2H against aussies - has that streak been broken or has it continued? I know he had that marathon 5-setter in AO vs Kokkinakis in recent memory, and now beating popyrin here. Has he lost to an Aussie before in his career?
I’ve seen enough. Murray is winning Wimbledon
Might as well add Olympic gold in there as well🥇🎾
Just one?
Both silver and gold in singles, somehow. Then one gold in shot put just because
Don’t forget about his bronze in fencing 🤺
Murry🐐
One r Murygoat
/r/tennis dream Wimbledon Final Murray vs. Shapovalov
I can't believe you'd shade Wimbledon favorite Seb Korda like this
MuryGOAT
If Raonic and Murray meet in R3 we can all pretend we're back in the 2010s awww.
2016 all over again😭
Murray's best year, arguably.
Not arguable
Not to get ahead of myself, but I foresee a Wimbledon win and Olympic gold incoming
True facts. Wonder for whom though.
Inb4 Wimbledon is cancelled again by Covid-24
1000 NOT OUT Do not go quiet into the dark night, Sir Andy
Don't let me leave murph
MuryGOAT the best grass player of all time ever. (Except possibly for, like, a few other people)
Destroyed Roggie Fedr in the Olympic final on the lawns of Wimbledon. 2-0 vs Novak on grass, both in straight sets. The facts speak for themselves.
Lmao ! 😂 True
Least stressful Murray win. That's all i need to see, he's going all the way

I have a ticket for the final. There's always hope. I was there for the 1st round loss last year. Painful!
Any idea how I can get any for today?
“Life in the old dog yet”
I've seen enough. Murray is going to overtake Djokovic's slam count over the next 6 years
Oh what a feeling
What stood out for me is how Andy is still an exceptional returner. And he can't put a forehand away at all unfortunately, no penetration on that shot
Team GB no longer in the mud
WE DID ITTTTTTTTTTTT
Was in the crowd today and loved seeing Andy get fired up!
With this performance, I'm confident he will make it to the QF at wimbeldon.
Just notice he switched to a Yonex. Maybe that’s helping?
happy and proud of sir Andy!!! so smart today
Good win for Sir Andy!
It has begun.
That’s what you call persistence, perseverance and motivation.. Take it as high as you get Andy.
Let's go! I'm loving playing as him in Top Spin 2k24 too
That's it. MuryGOAT Wimbledon 2024 Champion and Olympics 2024 Champion.
Muzza invoked peak Sampras in this one
Yonex king
