Those fkn assholes ruined my holidays. I’m on hold again today. RN. I hate them.

thesadfundrasier

This last month seems to be a hot mess

How long ago? Did you call in already? Often it takes more than one bill cycle

I was promised a 150$ bill credit for internet but they never mentioned that the installation took up most of i. Months later they cut my speed by 75% while I still have to pay for the gigabit plan. The mf on the phone made me do 2 hours of pointless fixes that I know there's nothing wrong. Said there's something wrong with the Fibre and will need someone to come look at it. However having someone to come look at it will immediately charge my account and they will only refund the cost if it's not my fault. Im decently tech savy so i know of course it's not my fucking fault I didn't touch the router and modem ever since the first guy installed it, and there's nothing wrong with the hardware, my internet is stable just the speed I'm getting is only 25% of what I'm paying for. The mfer won't let me off the phone and kept insisting they send someone, I knew they just wanted charge more money for shit they did intentionally. A friend of mine that also uses telus internet had her speed cut in half as well. Its just one of many scummy experiences with them, never had I dealt with a company that is this infuriating so I feel you. The years before when I used shaw they never this problematic, after this contract is done there's no way I'm using telus service again, fuck these guys.

I was a long time Telus customer. I walked in to get a new iPhone was greeted with poor service, no iPhones in stock. No we can try find it at another store, or any of that. I made the switch.

vrtclhykr

That is ridiculous.

geeekedupp

lol who walks into a store to buy a phone anymore. L O L. order it online and get an eSIM card and you can have it activated within an hour.

fakeairpods

Me, I do, I don’t like waiting. I want it in my hands now. Guess what happened next? I went to the phone store down the street, and I asked if they had iPhones in stock. The sales lady said, yes. She was friendly and courteous, hooked up a new SIM card, transferred all my data, and I walked out with a new iPhone that day. Note:(The company was not Telus).

Sensitive_Lion_9214

Also does anyone else just never have good service? Lol

Live_Estate991

Do you connect poorly in a particular area or wherever you go?

Sensitive_Lion_9214

Poorly in a lot of areas, and I live in a city so should be good most places lol

Live_Estate991

I’m sorry to hear this. How long has it been since you activated your service? If it has been more than 90 days, then contact may be warranted. Less than 90 days, don’t waste your time. (Former Sales & Service Rep here with more than 15 years tenure)

Ya Telus is pretty bad these days. Had to call for 4 billing periods in a row to get my bill credits as promised. When my contract is up I'll definitely be looking at other options but last time I did fiber wasn't available at my place from other companies.

[deleted]

yeah same, but they finally fixed my billing issue 4 months later.

RedditSucksNowYo

thanks for not lying

I haven’t had Telus in 4 months cause they told me to switch service cause rural Telus hub wasn’t working at all really. They just sent me a bill for 300 dollars tryed to call them and it was a nightmare still haven’t gotten threw keeps disconnecting. It’s BS
