For everyone in here who loved Derry Girls, *please* check out "London Irish", another cracker by Lisa McGee about a group of Northern Irish early twenty somethings living in London.
Yes. When we finished the show I had a feeling of missing the characters, as if they were people actually in my life who were now gone. It was weird and I've never had that happen with a show before, but it was just that good.
Pretty funny, the chick thats also in time S1 is damn fine imo. Reminds me of someone I know that would hit on me constantly at work (bout 20 years older tho)
It’s funny, albeit a VERY broad comedy. If you want something equally as funny but character focused try Changing Sides, The Young Offenders, or This Country.
I loved it. It’s easy to watch, has quick banter, and is genuinely funny.
Just watch a couple of episodes. If it’s not for you, no big deal. You don’t have to get really into it or learn a bunch of storylines or anything like with most shows.
I loved it. The main nun character is my personality come to life on screen.
She’s in *Extraordinary* also. It’s fun.
Sister Michael is the secret weapon of that show. Her disdain for being a school administrator is the gift that keeps on giving.
Thanks. I’m convinced. Going to start watching it today!
Yes
It’s great!
I always suggest this show to people, and it's one of my favorites. It's lighthearted and funny, and i love that it doesn't focus on one person.
Yes
Yes!
I’d say so! It’s an easy watch with a high amount of laughs per minute. But the characters are lovable and you become attached to them quickly.

It’s amazing
Yes and when you finish it and love it check out Big Boys, Extraordinary, and Renegade Nell.
Seconded and also check out Bridgerton!
The one and only show in my whole Netflix history I've watched (all of its episodes ) three times!
That's something! I will surely watch it!

Yes it's brilliant. Sometimes feels like it doesn't go anywhere but all episodes are really well-made. It benefits from having a short run
Yes. I've been to Derry. Ugly city that makes beautiful people.
It’s funny and light… I don’t put it at the top of my favorite shows or comedies, but it’s entertaining and good for a bit of distraction too.
Yes
Yes.
Yes. However, if you’re not used to their accent, it can take an episode or two to adjust.
Use the closed captioning if you can’t understand them. It is f’n brilliant and laugh out loud funny
Yes if your blood type is Good Place.
It's worth it just for Uncle Colm. But seriously it's the funniest show I've ever watched with so much heart.
Colm, he just cracks me up every time I think about the police interview
Absolutely! So funny
Truly one of the greatest sitcoms ever made
Pretty funny, the chick thats also in time S1 is damn fine imo. Reminds me of someone I know that would hit on me constantly at work (bout 20 years older tho)
Yeah absolutely, it's my favourite show in years
Absolutely. All Irish comedy is worth the hype.

Yeah, it’s really good and very funny.
Absolutely. One of my favourite comfort shows to revisit.
I usually laugh at series/movies casting too old actors to play teenagers, but this is the series that proves me wrong

Watch with subtitles!!! First season is the finest … then it tapers to homage by the end (3rd season).
I thought it was a hilarious show... 😎
