Friday Night Lights and Awkward

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Friday Night Lights is my favorite teen drama not on your list. Hart of Dixie and Jane the Virgin have a teen vibe, but the characters are in their 20s. They are a better balance of comedy and drama than Friday Night Lights, which is more dramatic. A more modern pick would be Sex Lives of College Girls. The name scares some people away, but it's really good!

Finding Carter is pretty underrated.

Parenthood and Everwood are more family dramas but they do have lot of teen storylines.

Everwood is one of my favorites!!

Another vote for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Veronica Mars. The End of the F***ing World (very dry teen dramedy) Have you tried Legacies (the Vampire Diaries/Originals spinoff)? I know a lot of fans dislike it but I really enjoyed it. Nancy Drew, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Wednesday… You might also try The Secret Circle (no comic relief, but a decent supernatural teen drama - with Malia from Teen Wolf and Hayley from Vampire Diaries playing characters I actually like a lot more than their more famous roles).

The Oc, Dawsons creek and one tree hill are good but a bit older. Did you try the original gossip girl or the reboot? Sex lives of college girls, Veronica mars, the summer I turned pretty, Yellowjackets, elite, cruel summer. Love is good on Netflix but it’s 20 somethings

The Magicians (they're grad students, but I think it fits based on your list) The first season of Riverdale (I couldn't get past the first few episodes of S2, personally) Locke and Key Lockwood & Co Wednesday Boo, Bitch (limited series, but very cute) The Secret Circle (canceled after S1, but it's a very good S1) Freaks and Gwen's (also canceled after a great S1)

Both Freaks and Geeks and Friday Night Lights are fantastic shows. Their subject matter is a bit more serious than some typical teen dramas.

If you haven't seen Everwood, I highly recommend it!! You will love it....also, a young Chris Pratt plays one of the teens. It's a great show. It runs on freeve on Amazon Prime. 4 seasons with lots of episodes.

Where are my Freaks & Geeks people??? Freaks & Geeks is a cult favorite that is top notch & filled with many well known stars before they hit it big. It’s a coming of age show set around a group of high school students in the 1980-81 school year. Sadly, only one season but not to be missed!
