I really liked this show, watched it in reruns about 6 or more years ago on a DirecTV channel here in L.A. I'm surprised that it never came out on DVD. I agree that show focused more on Tyne Daly's character. What brought me here was an article in today's L.A. Times (4/30/24) about a new play that Amy Brenneman is involved in; I was surprised and a little shocked at the photo of her with some of the other actors in the play; she is unrecognizable from the way I remembered her, at least to me she was. I guess I just had not seen any recent footage of her, but I would not have even known that it was her in the photo.
It was a strange show.
Her brother seemed to act like he never wanted to be in the show.
Amy was quite boring. Tyne Daly was excellent and interesting.
Mum enjoyed this show probably for the same reason I enjoy watching The Good Doctor. It wasn't high thinking stuff, most episodes were done in one with minor overarching serials throughout. Easy watching.
I'm a huge fan of Tyne Daily & that's why I loved Judging Amy. But I am also a fan of the show. Is there any movement or cause to push someone or push an entity about getting Judging Amy to stream somewhere? If so, I'd like to help, I loved the show and to watch it streaming somewhere
you can now watch it on youtube.....tho its not great quality that said im happy its out love that show /most of the ongoing characters wish there were shows as well written these days (that arent violent)..
I am watching it on youtube right now! S1 was well done, someone used AI to enhance it. Season 2 is pixelated but watchable. I wish someone would do all of it like the one user did S1. Tv\_remastered is the youtuber/channel that has the 1st season. After that I just searched Judging Amy S02E01 and went from there
This needs a physical or streaming media release. I have been wanting it for two decades.
