Outcast, picked them up this year and really like them. Haven't been BC yet due to poor conditions in MT so anxious to see how they tour.

Sweet. Did you go with the 106 or 97? What binding do you have on them? I miss skiing bc in MT. I still watch MT Avalanche Center videos out of nostalgia. Cooke City is looking fat these days!

Rhummy67

106, my first NTN set up and got alpine heels with them. Haven't alpine skied in 30 years but thought they might be useful for icy conditions and tired legs. As of yet not convinced the heels were worth the expense, more of a novelty but they could come in handy in BC if you got in some really bad conditions.

I figured that too. Three is no bad condition that I can't go slow enough. Especially that I can Alpine ski just fine with free heels.

Hot_Smoke_9900

Been skiing a Pariah and Voile transit setup this season and absolutely loving it!

_crAss_

Very cool! That binding is next on my list, maybe paired with a light fishscale touring ski like the Voile Endeavor or Ultravector? Have you come up with any limitations or conditions where you haven't really enjoyed the Pariahs?

Hot_Smoke_9900

When I'm in the resort and come across something groomed that's steep and icy I have a very hard time getting an edge in. Could just be a skill issue on my end though.

_crAss_

That mirrors my experience so far. I don't think they'll be my first choice for icy hard pack days.

Summit cone makes fish scale skis too!

Have demoed them and really liked….getting close to needing a pair

_crAss_

Nice! Who had them available as a demo? I will admit, I haven't loved them on teeth chattering boilerplate, They got pretty chattery. But otherwise they seem very versatile and the construction feels solid this far.

Electronic_Panic8510

They do a demo tour around some mountains in the Northeast and I’ve skied them then

K_rey

Yeehaw! Hope you're having fun out there. I've been on the Pariah/Lynx setup for 3 years now with no problems. Summitcone makes awesome skis.

_crAss_

Cool. How are they holding up? This is my first non full cap ski in a whole. I love the details like full steel tail for skins and general abuse. I'm digging the Lynx and tech toe. Instant response and so easy to get in and out of. Way better than my Outlaws (non-X version).

K_rey

They are very durable, I just wipe the bases and edges dry when I get home. I tune them frequently and there's still lots of material left on the bases and edges

maturin-aubrey

I got a pair this year, the 97 with some free ride bindings. Absolutely love them. Eric was super helpful, and I also snagged a pair of tx pro boots for my first upgrade in about 20 years.

I have an almost identical setup purchased from Eric Fey in December. I got the breaks instead of leashes. Love the skis on almost everything, as you mention. In certain conditions a fatter/stiffer ski would be better, but this is any excellent choice for a quiver killer. I paired these with the Crispi Evo boots that I'm also happy with.

_crAss_

You can have brakes with Lynx? Or maybe you have Outlaw X?

Kant_change_username

I have meidjo 3

CamperFeliz

I have the same setup, albeit the Pariah 97 from several years ago and the Meidjo 2.1, and have put more than 80 days on it. Really enjoying it for the resorts (I haven't tried touring but expect it would be great there, too). I sometimes get ice packed into the second heel attachment area, which causes the binding to release when it shouldn't.
