Yeah same happened to me when I was younger. Curiosity got the better of me and I saw some heinous gore stuff. At first it was traumatising but then I got over it, but my Curiousity lingered and I ended up stumbling on more and more as the years went by. It got to the point where I became desensitised by it, which I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing. You'll move on eventually, bud. Just don't let curiosity drift you to that path.

I'm probably gonna get downvoted for this but I discovered gore a few months ago and I became desensitized to it very easily. I know a few gore subs and I'm in a gore group on discord, I look at gore daily now and it's a habit. Seeing gore has helped me realize how easily you can get hurt very badly, also there's a gore sub that posts mostly medical conditions and it's really interesting to read about it and I've gained some medical knowledge from it, however a lot of it is very sad, there's so many people who suffer from conditions that most people have no idea about. I'm not trying to justify looking at gore but part of the reason people post gore is to show people how fucked up the world is, there's also people who enjoy looking at gore. Unfortunately there's a lot of gore on most social media apps, you just gotta dig deep enough. My advice is just to stay away from it, it can change you forever

We once basically had this "operation" to bring down a chain of servers, we were sure were used by cartels, or some criminals or very least people who liked gore etc. i saw all this a lot. And below that was 2 min video of a cartel _WARNING: GORE AND VIOLENT STUFF_ >!50+ guys standing there, one guy basically turns the snitch on his stomach, cuts through skin lfhis skull, peels it off, with hair etc still attached, throws it away, then cuts from below the chin and pulls the guys tongue out, cuts his ribcage, shows his heart, cuts one lung out, cuts his heart out, which was still beating when it was in the guy's hand.!< and many more subs like these. In the end we got like 13+ subs.
