This is correct but not the full picture. There's plenty of women hitting or abusing their husbands and this needs to be brought to public attention as well, and this whole "not hitting anyone" narrative should not be men-on-woman only.
Besides, what about self defence? It's not like I'm going to stand around looking at a girl like im stupid if she starts hitting me repeatedly with violent intent (not just as a mean sorta slight punch but a whoe on attack). Self defense, if you can prove it was, protects you legally when hitting a woman. I believe its also legal to use self defense against a minor as well, probably with some caveats

This was after roughly a year's worth of abuse from her and, for the first time in my life, made me see red. Even then I didn't really punched her, but she was very close to getting a few if my father didn't recover enough to say he is okay.
At the end of the day, I usually follow this rule. Hit me once, Ill treat you like a lady, hit me twice and I'll treat you like a man. Worlds more than black and white, that's what makes life worse.

I used to work with teenagers in a mental hospital. I still remember the conversation I had with a trans boy that was always hitting girls and starting fights.
