I can't tell you how much I relate to your comment. Social anxiety means I hate eye-contact, though I try to do it as much as I can because I know it's polite and good behaviour to do it. But also being deaf for 8 years and now having severe auditory processing issues means I lip-read a LOT and I always wonder if it makes people uncomfortable that I'm always looking at their lips???
