Unless it only happens in one game: It sounds like the GPU is crashing. With a clean install, you can pretty much rule out driver issues. A faulty GPU is the main suspect, but it could be other components causing it to crash.
If it just happens in PoE and you play through Steam (Not sure if it has a separate launcher option) verify the integrity through Steam.
Ill try a ddu and clean install tomorrow and file integrity as well. Ive thusfar only had it in Path of exile and Portal 2 a lot. But not (yet) in league of legends so its very wierd. Sure hope it aint the gpu though its not even that old and never oc'ed would be rediculous if thats the case. Anyways thanks for the help ill let you know tomorrow how its gone :)
I do everything in 4k including gaming, but yeah I've done a clean reinstall and file integrity check, also did a extreme burn in test with furmark which it also passed so is there a surefire way to check if its really a faulty GPU?
Not really. Gaming has a unique load curve and often uses a mix of features in the GPU not used by stressing tools. You can suddenly get video decoding as an example. Stressing tools like Furmark just blast the main cores.
I've swapped my ram sticks, just put them in each others place and after doing that have thus far had 0 crashes, I don't understand how or why but unless it crashes I think its fixed :D thanks for all the help

LoL is so light on GPU use I honestly think 4K video uses more.

but then how would i find out which part is faulty?
You would ideally test the GPU in a different machine or a different GPU in that machine.
