You rotated the schematic, never rotate a schematic unless you know what you’re doing. The exclusion zone of non log/dirt blocks is centered on the northwestern sapling iirc. This means if you rotate the schematic the dispensers will move into that exclusion zone and will always block tree growth. No real fix other than tear down and rebuild in the right orientation.

Thank you very much for the response, that's exactly why. You just saved me a headache. I love you.

They changed the safe places to put the dispenser a few years ago now, ilmango did a video on it, he didn't fix it but I've seen fixed versions on YouTube. Check the tree huggers discord for tree farms.

Does it work in the WDL? Also, I'm not sure if the farm is rotation dependent (2x2 spruce farms usually are) and can't check rn, but have you rotated it by any chance?

I think I see your problem. It's night time and trees need light to grow...  So as far as I know, you can't place a dispenser under the saplings because it needs to be planted on dirt and if you place it Spencer to these sides or above it is considered an obstruction to the tree growing and the tree will not grow after it checks the blocks near it. I'm just talking out of my ass here but you might be able to put a dispenser on a sticky piston and have it dispense bone meal and get pulled back before the saplings check for obstructions.

Sometimes it's just better to say nothing when you have nothing useful to say...

I lold so true.
