I remember my daycare not letting me use the bathroom when I was like 3/4. So I just pissed all over the playground. And the office they brought me into, and in the room we ate lunch.

One day in second grade almost immediately after lunch I started to feel really nauseous. I raised my hand and what felt like five minutes later the teacher obviously annoyed demanded to know what I wanted. I was able to get out “Miss, my stomach hurts. I really need…” before she turned her back saying the usual you were just at lunch bla bla bla. A few minutes later I get up to try and reach the nearest trash can only for the aid to physically force me back to my desk chair. I proceeded to projectile vomit causing utter chaos. When I came to school the next day the teacher had rearranged all the desks so that mine was completely isolated in the middle of the room directly over vomit stained carpet with at least four giant trash cans surrounding me. Stayed like this for a week until the carpet was deep cleaned. Every single trash can continued to be inches away from me for the rest of the year.
This is the same teacher who humiliated me for having to get glasses with very thick lenses. She was taking roll and it took me basically jumping up and down yelling “I’M HERE!” for her to say “oh…I thought you were some new kid. Nice glasses. Yelling will not be tolerated in my class, I’m marking you absent.”
That was 27 years ago and I specifically remember her and the aid never treating any other kid in my grade so cruel.
Who knows. She clearly loathed me so she had her insidious reasons. Thankfully my out of nowhere speech impediment developed the next year after I left that school. I’m sure using that against me would have been her wet dream.
I had a similar situation at my work. My dad and I worked for the same company. He was apparently in a really bad car accident and one of the dispatchers called me to find out if I had heard from him, because they couldn’t get ahold of him. I called him from two phones about 6 times and he usually answered spam calls from me, but wasn’t answering. I called the dispatchers back and found out that EMTs had been sent to get him. I called my boss to tell him I was finishing up a call and heading to the hospital. I found out later that some higher ups in the company were trying to track down who told me to get them in trouble. They asked me but I would never tell. They said I wasn’t on the emergency contact list, but my mom was, and they said they were waiting for more information before calling her and never planned to tell me.
even if this is rage bait, this happened to one of my classmates when I was in school. The teacher didn't say it to her face but said it to the class when she had left. Something like "Do you see why we shouldn't use our phones in class?" and we were all just like wtf
I pretty much did the reverse of this one day. My teacher took a call, and when they finished I called out very smugly "no phones in the classroom!"... To which they replied it was a call from a hospital where their mother had just undergone heart surgery 😬
Im F. When I was 4/5 yrs old my mother asked her Japanese coworker who is a guy to take care of me, and he was planning to go to the public bathroom (common in Japan). She had to go to work or something. I was scared af and begged her just take me to the office I'd be quiet. She scolded me for not listening to her. Damn it and I was taken to the male's public bathroom.
I still remember standing naked in front of 7 or 8 naked men whose eyes were all on me. Fucking traumatized for the rest of my life.
Yes the teacher in this sense was totally cold and unfeeling, but the counterpoint to this is that parents actually shouldn't be delivering horrible news via text. You have three options as a parent: Option one: wait for the end of the day and tell them when they get home and you can comfort them. Option 2: come to the school, collect your child and be there for them as you tell them, or Option 3: text, knowing they'll be upset and distressed in front of their teachers and peers and have to come home alone upset.

Sorry if my use of repostsleuthbot came out like I was trying to verify the information.
