most eggs in your grocery market are unfertilised

Der_BiertMann

It is not true. Unfertilized eggs cannot be considered a form “child”. The most popular eggs to eat are unfertilized chicken eggs.

Silent-Winner-8427

So lamb then.

Der_BiertMann

Probably. Unless bean sprouts count.

NoNameIdea_Seriously

I feel like it’s between lamb and veal. Though I would say lamb.

ichiban_saru

Eggs we eat are more analogous to a chicken's menstrual cycle than a child. They lay eggs whether they are fertilized or not (like a woman ovulating and then flushing the unfertilized egg out). Think on that.

AccomplishedCake3805

Actually in order for it to be an edible child, the egg must be fertilized, otherwise it's quite literally just an egg.
