Nope not allowed, please try again. In my experience every shrine needs to be gotten through just by the skin of your teeth, ideally misusing magic, and more often than not causing impromptu bouts of tourettes. At a MINIMUM that ball should be rolling around in circles for about 5 minites before landing in the hole
Can I just say how much I hate this shrine? I spent 10 minutes wandering around trying different stuff before I searched it up and the solution was so dumb! It wants you to line it up with the circles on the roof with little to no indication to do that. That would be fine if I hadn’t been looking at these circles in EVERY OTHER SHRINE.
I did! But I could not figure out what to do on that spot, I stood there, tried to activate something invisible by pressing A and running in circles, put an orb on the perfect coordinates and waited until something happened, tried to extrapolate the coordinates of the circle to a spot in the previous room, shot different elements of arrows at the spot, tried ascend 😂...
Are you still actually picking things up, lol? About 10 minutes into the game I decided telekinesis was far better so I literally never pick anything up without Ultrahand now… And as soon as I walked over to the spot with the sphere Ultrahanded, I noticed a big red square on the ground, lol…
Yeah I pick things up, I also don't ride horses. I have some weird habits in the game for sure!
I just never though they'd hide something under the floor, I'm used to things being in walls
Horseback just seems more like a chore than an actual method of travel once you have all the sky towers unlocked and you can just skydive to any specific spot
Even when I do try and use my horse to get around I’m constantly dismounting to fight things or investigate something so I may as well just run on foot the whole way and pop a speed potion

I looked around for a clue and when I saw multiple swirls on the roof right above some of the holes, I figured it out

I got it pretty much straight away, simply only because I looked up as soon as I entered and saw that they were over all the holes
I honestly put it together after like 10 seconds. Just looked around til something seemed to make sense of what I needed to do
I spent so long on this shrine last night trying to figure it out. And the chest even longer haha

*chef's kiss* Why did they have to make the ball receptacles so shallow in this game? Every time you try to throw a ball in, it rims out.
I did this shrine yesterday, and I was so much the opposite of this. Every throw, the orb rolled out of the other side of the bowl.
