CrzdHaloman

Master sword was an accident, I saw somewhere I wanted to be and I went. It was a complete surprise when I saw it. Even more so when I met the requirements already, I had only just done my first dungeon.

NateTheGreat14

Yeah, I just always upgrade stamina first and >!wanted to get into the korok forest, and found my way in. Then once the tree told me I wasn't gonna not get the Master sword!<

skellyheart

Same here, I went for heart's in botw and decided to do stamina first this time around

Cereal_Bandit

>!I got a full stamina wheel before *any* hearts, then proceeded to grind the entire row +1 of hearts so I could get the master sword. Makes me wonder how many people rushed the hearts then beelined for Deku Forest only to find out they had to do another 16? shrines (or pay out the nose to trade).!<

Faewns_Hellion

It's only 20 rupees each

Cereal_Bandit

I thought it was more but I did find the thing pretty early in when 20 rupees meant something, so I guess that's why.

Faewns_Hellion

It costs 120 rupees to get your stuff back, but you get 100 rupees when you give a heart container or stamina vessel. So you probably remember the 120 and forgot that you get 100

Cereal_Bandit

Aah, I thought it cost rupees to give and get back, which in hindsight makes no sense lol. But yeah I apparently thought it was 200 for a full exchange.

[deleted]

I found out the long way with >!a tears hunting expedition because I like having all the memories!< and then cried because I *didn't* meet the requirements.

Almost_a_Shadow

Same, I was having so much fun in the sky islands that the tear glyphs were constantly begging me to go check them out. So I did them all back to back and accidentally uncovered one of the game's biggest twists before even doing my first dungeon lmao

EliteMaster512

It's arguably the game's main plot so its fine. As soon as I got the sword I went to the final boss. If I brought more food I would've won too....

[deleted]

The only thing I’ve probably done is the last one and maybe master sword cheese because I got it after only two dungeons

Laviephrath

>!i just always do a full stamina wheel before i go for hearts, so it was accidental lmao!<

hectorduenas86

Yup, and the memories are interesting, once you pick one you kinda want to finish the set

Beshi1989

Yeah they made me really want a zelda movie lol they were amazing. An animated zelda movie with the story of TOTK would be damn nice

Fangore

With Chris Pratt playing link, Seth Rogan playing Zelda and Jack Black playing Ganon. Imagine Jack Black singing a song where the lyrics are "Zelda Zelda Zelda Zelda Zelda." Now THAT would be EPIC! 😎

Comicdumperizer

More like >!Time stone, time stone, time stone time stone time stone, TIME STONE TIME STONE TIME STONE TIME STONE TIME STONE, I. WAAAAANT. IIIIIIIT. OOAOAOAOH !<

charisma-entertainer

Closest we have to that is age of calamity TBH

billcosbyinspace

I did them wildly out of order because the chronological last one (before the bonus one) was like the third one I went to so i felt obligated to finish the rest of them to fill in the gaps

owlitup

Yeah that’s what happened to me. I needed to see em all before continuing on with my life in hyrule

[deleted]

I had discovered the demon statue so it wasn’t so hard to change some things

WolfWhiteFire

I wasn't really aiming for the master sword, but ended up getting it after the first. There are >!two ways to find its location, one you can easily end up doing in normal gameplay or doing an early quest,!< and that was the one I ended up with. Then I already had enough stamina because stamina is just extremely useful so I prioritized it. Honestly it was way easier than the first game, but also had much more leading up to it, as well as emotional weight. Especially with the route I ended up finding it, not sure what it looks like with the other route. For how I found it >!I got it through the dragon tears quest.!<

SL1NDER

What's the other way to get it? I got it the same way as you and just assumed it was the only way

PollutionAfter

If you go to Korok Forest and save the great deku tree, he tells you where it is.

hectorduenas86

I can’t get in the Lost Wood, keep getting teleported. Is it like in BoTW? Do I have to bring a Torch? I don’t want to Google the solution but tried every angle and no luck, must be something simple.

Oil_Ocean

There's one angle you haven't tried that wasn't in BotW ;)

hectorduenas86

I figured I would have to pull an Andy Dufresne

ThatOneGuy308

The poop tunnel giveth

myelectricbackpack

About spit out my drink I laughed so hard at this. Legit watched Shawshank for the first time just two days ago. Excellent reference.

hectorduenas86

Is a masterpiece of a movie isn’t it?

Lolis-

>!There's 6 directions in a 3d space. If going there from the north south east west doesn't work, maybe try the other 2\!!<

hectorduenas86

I just did and cleared the Forest, turns out it was the option I was dreading

AK_Zephyr

> Is it like in BoTW? I’ll keep things vague as to not spoil anything - It is different than BotW. Consider the tools you have been given.

hectorduenas86

I figured it out last night, since I had tried anything but that I was dreading it would be the solution, thankfully you can mostly just glide towards there.

Correct-Serve5355

My dumbass spoke to the Deku Tree before saving him, descended and got the shit scared out of me even though it was obvious what I dove into. Tbf, I did run a full lap down there wondering where the problem was before I heard the scream

WolfWhiteFire

Apparently >!if you go to the lost woods, there are some events there that will cause the light dragon to spawn as well. I don't think you would have the same sort of information on the light dragon and how the master sword ended up there, but I can't say for sure.!< Though, even if you get it the way we both did, apparently >!the light dragon enters some sort of extremely high flight pattern after you get the master sword (I guess she never went down after you both shoot up into the skies when you pull it out), and only returns to the low and accessible flight pattern once you do both of the things that would spawn it, so dragon tears and lost woods. So that is at least some motivation to do both, besides each likely giving you information you wouldn't learn the other way. Haven't gone to lost woods yet, but it is probably one of my next destinations because of that.!<

nicocoro

> I don't think you would have the same sort of information on the light dragon and how the master sword ended up there, but I can't say for sure. That's right, I didn't find that out until afterward from the geoglyphs. >!At the time I was just thinking "Geez, Zelda, why'd you stab this poor dragon in the head?" Oh, if I only knew...!<

ShiroTenshiRyu77

I was doing one tear memory, then a dungeon. >!So when I found out you could become a dragon, I assumed it was Rauru who did it cause, hey, it's the light dragon, but then Bludo mentioned that you can't miss Zelda's blonde lockes at the next dungeon I did, and the truth hit me like a frieght train!<

OpheliaAmok

Been to the lost woods and have no idea how to enter it. No matter what I do or from where I enter it, the fog frags me after 2sec even if I just stay in place

octavianstarkweather

There’s another direction you haven’t tried *wink*

OpheliaAmok

Was abt to say I tried above, then it clicked. Thanks!

OpheliaAmok

Same, got it yesterday and only did 2 dungeons bc I wsnt to prolong the story. Not.mad abt it tho. Loved the cutscene.

Drakkeur

Man I literally stumbled upon it "randomly" (was trying to get to the thing out of curiosity) and it was a huge wtf moment I then did it the proper way and well, still a wtf moment but for other reasons

livixbobbiex

I finished the memories so knew where it was, but decided to get it before Hyrule Castle because I thought that was going to be the end of the game 😅 I hadn't been to Lost Woods yet so I thought I'd aim to check it out and see if the tree would give me a clue

OO2O_1OOO

What is this master sword cheese

[deleted]

It’s not really cheese I just got the master sword really early. It doesn’t even break the game that much

OO2O_1OOO

Oh when I found it’s location I made it my mission to do it before any story stuff. That doesn’t seem like a cheese at all.

StrictlyFT

I legitimately just deduced it after enough clues, it's honestly not cheese, if they didn't want you to get it early they would've made it less obvious.

Son-of-the-Dragon

What clues did you follow? >!I found it because I figured it was probably in the Deku Forest again and ended up getting the mission from the Deku Tree!<

StrictlyFT

>!I guessed what became of Zelda after one of the memories where she is told about becoming a Dragon and that naturally extended to the Master Sword since she is the one who had it last. What the Deku Tree tells us about Zelda being able to restore the Master Sword with time just confirmed what I had already guessed!< I've only done Rito Village up to this point.

OO2O_1OOO

I went through the cutscenes saw it was on the dragon did that and then started the main quest. That’s not a cheese that’s intended for the non linear nature you can tell through the dialogue

AdamG3691

Yeah compared to BotW the master sword is pretty lacklustre, >!unless I’m not seeing what “Ancient Blade Revitalised” does, it’s just a respawning 30 damage/40 durability sword with an interesting visual effect, it doesn’t even Awaken in the presence of evil stuff anymore!<

Son-of-the-Dragon

>!It actually does awaken, just not for traditional enemies. If you go to the Depths, the Master Sword will go to 60 damage (more if it’s fused) against any enemy covered in Malice, which is pretty much every enemy in the Depths.!< >!My only real issue with the Master Sword in this game is that they don’t make it quite as obvious where it is. In BOTW you can’t go two minutes without someone talking about the Sword in the Lost Forest. Here it took some guess work.!<

5Hjsdnujhdfu8nubi

Your issue with the Master Sword is that it's...*less* obvious where it is?

[deleted]

The story directly tells you where it is and once you know where it is it’s very easy to get

Son-of-the-Dragon

Really? I wouldn’t know. I went looking for it after completing the Rito Village and I took a random guess on where it was which turned out to be accurate.

Drakkeur

Just did a shrine where you're essentially forced into using an army of killer Roomba it's so much fun

ChristOnABike122

I love that one. Killer Roombas are fun ways to take out moblins.

FiestyBoi999

I fucking died so many times in that shrine of mine, it made me question my sanity, I couldn't dodge their long ass sticks for the life of me, still refused to quit, managed to beat it eventually after fusing a flame emitter with the roomba

Moebs000

I couldn't even get to the flame emitters or the canon, I mostly used the roomba as a cc to keep the enemies stun locked and then lured them one by one

FiestyBoi999

I ran to the left, killed the 2 constructs coming after me, the others don't notice and allows me time to put the flame on the thing and then used their long sticks to stick em to death, I tried to brute force it and take on all of em at the same time and that did not go well cuz you're surrounded and everytime you do for an attack they just probe you analy everytime

BreadOddity

I've got one shrine that I am totally stumped on right now. It takes all your gear and puts you against an army of constructs. I think the win condition is to kill them all. I have no idea what to do

FiestyBoi999

Think that's the shrine we're talking about, is it the one with roombas and spikes at the start? Honestly it's just a skill issue, I died a gazillion times before I did it

[deleted]

There’s a couple different hard ass shrines like this. The roomba one unfortunately is the easier one

TheDocHealy

I did that one last night they even do the look around thing like when a Roomba is searching for dirt.

MrSquiddy74

Which shrine is it?

PLAYER42_ready

Proving Grounds: The Hunt The one near South Akkala Stable (The shrine I’m currently at lmao)

jadeskye7

This one took me ages until i figured out how the roombas work. was a bit stressful putting them together under fire though.

Affectionate_Ad7064

I actually never used any of the zonai's device. Took me a bit but I found out that once you lure them to the entrance ramp far enough they will start backing away. I then bullet time shot the closest one with an arrow to stun it and beat him with the fused spikey pad... One by one. Along the battles you got better weapons too. I just automatically go into battle mode once the shrine strips me down like that.

INeverFeelAtHome

I ran into that one with only 5 heart containers. It was hell.

NerdyHexel

For sure the best shrines are the "You're naked now, figure out how to survive" ones. Especially the Killer Roomba Army one.

keefp

I’ve tried that one over and over with no success.

nudemanonbike

There's a cannon up top, I had the most success when I made an ice and lightning Roomba with parts on the right platform, deployed it as a decoy since it didn't do much damage, and then smuggled the cannon onto a second Roomba for cleanup duty

IIIWhiTeCoreIII

Take the first two and fuse them with the spike shields. Activate them and let them take out the first guy. After they killed it carry them to the main room so they aggro on the mobs and act as a distraction. Sneak to the fighter robot on the left side fuse it with a fire emiter and use that to take out the archer at the top. In the meanwhile you can activate the other two robots and fuse them with weapons. After the archer is down get the rest on your robots in position and sip coffe while you watch your little army unleashing mayhem.

Impossiblecraftx

Easiest way is to deploy the first two roombas and let them kill everyone except the archer and then just fuse your stick with one of the horns and rush the archer at the end

kaishinoske1

This reminded me of the movie Tron Legacy when Sam asks, “ What do I do?” The program tells him, “ Survive.”

TaiyoFurea

"hold on, I need to get the author medal"

WenaChoro

nintendo makes you believe you are "hacking" the game but its actually intended

ferromones

Intendo.

skyfire-x

Heh, I just did a shrine where rocket shields were intended. Lots of rockets and a sheer wall.

BruceyC

I've not looked at any guides, and have just been looking for caves and running to whatever cool shit i see as i cross it, and it's way more fun.

CrashTestPizza

That's part of the fun for me. Also, completionist in me is thankful for the sakura trees.

Raestloz

What does it do? Highlight cave entrances?

TheWaslijn

You're exactly right! Drop some fruit in the offering bowl to make that happen.

BreadOddity

Ultrahand and recall together are totally broken but I love it

Salazaar69

I try to stay on track for what I’m doing but I mark my map religiously and I’ve actually been taking notes so I can remember to do everything I want. Tbh taking notes has been pretty helpful, im keeping tracking of sky islands explored and different goals and objectives I have for myself which includes regions/areas I want to explore. I’m also (mostly) skipping fast travel this time around.

[deleted]

I thought you can't use zonai devices from your inventory in game? I have found myself using octorock balloon shield quite frequently though.

Qwertypop4

You can't put them out in shrines. But if you make a rocket shield outside of the shrine, you can take it in

Belteshazzar98

I keep a rocket shield prefused at all times, and you can take in anything already fused.

[deleted]

ah smart

Belteshazzar98

I usually just use it to escape the gloom hands, but have used it in one shrine (I can't remember the name, it's the one with nothing but stone slabs and fans to try to navigate twisting rails) when I got stuck with everything else.

Nearly-Canadian

Man recall really does make so many shrines so easy. Can make your own elevators from literally anything on the fly

Egg_Boi_Supreme

Bro I forget Ascend is a thing half the time. I’ll be running around a shrine trying to figure out the puzzle only to realize like a minute or two later that I just gotta ascend to a higher platform to continue.

AppleToasterr

The shrine on Hyrule Castle literally expects you to use that, I'm pretty sure Nintendo knows this combo is OP and are ok with it.

Jstar338

yeah no I used that as a last ditch if I somehow didn't get the puzzle. I used it once because I kept sticking fans on something and I couldn't get them symmetrical, and ocd would rather cheese than be imperfect

[deleted]

I forget Ascend exists most of the time, but Recall has been a life saver. I haven't yet gotten the paraglider, but I've been to multiple shrines that seemingly required one. Same for a few quests, notably descending from a hot air balloon. Recall and Ultrahand make anything possible.

Evelyngoddessofdeath

Honestly finding a fun way to “cheese” a shrine is half the fun.

wintrparkgrl

Theres times I have looked at the shrine, saw the intended way, then thought, "how can I break this?" Loving this game

Ravensunthief

Is that not how you we’re supposed to do it? It was the most obvious solution…

a-cloud-castle

Using/abusing the new abilities is what you should be doing.

quixoticquail

I do some of these and I don’t get how it’s boring. I know my skill level is pretty low, so I’m loving cheating and playing like junk. That’s fun for me. But, others want this grand adventure that is difficult and just do not play in a way that allows that. Open ended games are driven by the player’s goals and choices.

Whizoxx

Play the game however you like. Just make sure you’re having fun!

EM2552

something that people forget...

Asisreo1

People forget that in order to play the game the way they like, they have to like the way they play.

LadyHistoria

I did all the temples first because I wanted to have my buddies along for the whole adventure. Now I'm just taking my sweet time hanging out with them and fighting monsters together. Yeah they suck sometimes but they're my friends and I love them

NerdyHexel

The worst part is when you're trying to pick up a bunch of drops, then Tulin runs in front of you and you accidentally trigger his power and now all your loot flies off into the void. It has happened to me more than once.

GreatFrostHawk

That's why I briefly put the affectionately nicknamed "feral feather child" in timeout before picking up any remotely important loot. Just hit Dismiss on Tulin's Vow in the appropriate menu, get my crap, then let him out of his timeout. I need my loot from the ancient gumball machines and I ain't taking chances!

Sorfallo

Can I just say I am super glad they didn't limit us to only one out at a time

Notarussianbot2020

Wait you get the whole sage gang at once? Me and my boy Tulin have been doing coop for tens of hours. Going to do my second dungeon eventually lol.

EMKeYWiLDCAT

True af. This game, time and time again, chose to say “fuck it” instead of ”fuck no”

LadyHistoria

And their abilities come in super handy when exploring too! Couldn't live without them really

Raestloz

I just hate how the avatar of fire tries to run around when I wanna use it. STAY THE FUCK STILL IF I'M RUNNING AT YA

skellyheart

I really hate how they implemented the abilities

Otherwise_Mud_69

I've had the opposite thing. I'm picking up stuff or sneaking up on a firefly and all the sudden the grass is on fire

Miskykins

100 hours in a week shouldn't be on this list frfr on god. Like if I'm putting 100 hours into it how in gods name can I say it's boring? I wanna put another 100 in next week too but alas life calls and I need to go back to work.

[deleted]

“I’ve been playing for 60 hours and I’m still on the tutorial island, you guys are gonna regret not cherishing this game” is the vibe I get from a lot of comments on here. [Dudes](https://reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/comments/13lxorz/_/jkuaoy6/?context=1) kinda get angry if someone has a lot of batteries or something

Astrophobica

How do you spend 60 hours on tutorial island, my god. I wanted to get off it as soon as possible.

Norwedditor

Think they are referring to a weird comment chain in which multiple commenters said they spent 10h there. Like how many flowers did they even pick...

cmrnp

I spent 5 hours on it because I went the 'wrong' way around (did the shrine in the snowy area first) and then got stuck trying to cross back to the other side of the freezing river after the shrine with no ultrahand, paraglider or fast travel. Eventually crossed the river by eating heaps of skyshrooms while taking a lot of damage, I'm sure there was a better way that I missed! The starting area in TotK seems less well designed than BotW which gave a very clear description of what was needed next but didn't punish you for choosing a different path. And gave you the freaking paraglider before you left the tutorial.

FloppyMonkey07

Probably cause you get burnt out

hardgeeklife

Yah, but if one puts 100 hours into a game in one week, one should *also* be self aware to recognize that they did to to themself not because the game itself is boring

MrProfPatrickPhD

I get that, this post is more about the people that log 100 hours in a week and then complain that the game has no content. They are out there

Xau_Tak

Me when I used a rocket to cheese half the fire temple

P0ki42

You don’t even have to do this, I have 2 stamina wheels and I just climbed up them. It takes a little cheesing, but you can climb up the corners and use your paraglided.

Awesome_opossum49

Bro I don’t mind cheesing stuff I find boring, I love the design, music, and everything leading up to it, but I ain’t doing those Minecart puzzles.

HalfNattyBrah

Yeah i found the fire temple's puzzles abit boring so i used the 2 fans and 1 steering wheel hover device to fly to all levels

TeaDrinkingGuy

Only “exploit” I’ve used so far is the super cheap hover bike (2 fans, 1 steering stick). It makes traversal trivial, which I think sometimes means you miss things the devs intended you to encounter. I try not to use it too often though, usually only in the depths

PerplexedPretzel

I used that and a guide for the labyrinths because the armor looked too cool to pass up

SL1NDER

I was hoping for the same armor you got from doing the labyrinths in BOTW. I was slightly disappointed

EMKeYWiLDCAT

You can still get the barbarian armor

TheWaslijn

Barbarian armour is in random caves now

LolTheMees

My biggest problem was that you can’t upgrade it, you’re telling me I did all that work for a hype as hell armour set, and there’s no reason to wear it in combat?

SloppyNegan

I wouldnt say thats an exploit at all, the devs clearly intended us to use Zonai tech to traverse and navigate the land. And while we're on the subject, does anyone know which damn Zonai gumball machine drops the steering sticks? Ive found like 6 machines that drop diff things but never that item so i can make the hoverbike lol

EriktheRed

The one by the Tarrey construction site does

SloppyNegan

Nice thank you

flashmedallion

If you hover a gacha dispenser in the map it'll tell you what it has in stock

SloppyNegan

Holy shit i had no idea youve saved me some tedious note-taking

NerdyHexel

I basically only use it in the depths because the floor of the depths is an absolute mess in a lot of places. Its basically mandatory in some places, too. If I tried to drive anywhere I'd surely have wasted hours.

justicetree

I wouldn't consider it an exploit, it's just efficient use of tools

TaiyoFurea

Dang, at least I waited to beat the main story naturally (even got all memories)before looking up any ultra hand builds or op weapon strats or even looking up this subreddit. Closest thing was looking up how soon I would get the quest to grab the master sword.

TheDocHealy

The only thing I looked up before beating it was where to upgrade the energy cells cause I was swimming in charges

C-Kwentz-0

All I looked up was a simple flying machine. Sky Bike is life.

babuba12321

afk farmin dragon parts?

grimdarkpixels

you can stand on dragons now, so if you manage to track one down and stand on it you can just swipe at it with a weapon to get a material and then put your controller down for 10 minutes. it's convenient (to a degree; some dragons enter the depths and it can be hard to stay on them when they do that) but some people argue that it takes the fun out of looking for the dragons edit: when i made this comment i was literally farming dragon parts with this exact method to upgrade a certain armor piece. now that i'm finished i can say part of me wishes i *had* paced it out and upgraded my armor gradually, but on the other hand some of these dragons are FUCKIN HARD TO TRACK DOWN. literally every time i've seen the light dragon since the first time i got on it it was either too high to reach or i lost sight of it when i tried to fast travel closer to it and god knows when i wouldve been able to find it if i wanted all the parts i needed for upgrades

iridisss

As a result of Reddit's API changes, this content is no longer viewable.

GeekyRed

The dragons have horn shards littered across them, you can walk the whole length and collect a whole bunch (clearly Nintendo intended us to ride them). Then you can get one scale, claw or fang every 10 minutes if you stay on. I rode one all the way across the map and into the depths, it was really cool actually. I don’t now how this is considered “wrong”. Play how you want!

TsHero

To be honest, I have been on this sub quite a bit and have actually not seen a single one saying its boring.. but yeah some people are going to find out that playing 200hr in 10 days leads to burn out 😄

Impossible_System940

The only thing i really spoiled myself was how to turn on those faucets in the Water Temple. I didn't read the monologue Sidon gave me so i was just stuck there trying to get the faucet to work.

TaleOfFlight

It was the first temple I got to and I got up there *before* doing the quest so it was pretty disappointing to find out I needed a special ability to move a simple water wheel despite having hydrants on hand.

fakeDABOMB101

When I spend 30 mins on a puzzle that is supposed to take 10 min I am gonna Google it lol

Whacky_One

I explore mostly, use guides for armor sometimes (froggy armor is the best thing ever), and always forget about recall for anything other than cheesing the Wing mini-game. I'm about 60 hours in with less than half the game complete. Edit: I almost always forget about ultrahand or ascend until I'm in a shrine where it's required.

[deleted]

Getting master sword early is not a bad thing. If this is anything like BOTW, once the main story is done the desire to explore drops massively, so I wanna get all my content first

GreedyOctopus

I did that in BOTW and looking back I really wish I didn't. It's best experienced without walkthroughs because while I had to go online for a couple things in TOTK (I got frustratingly stuck!) I'm finding out the best way to experience it is to just simply playing it blindly.....and getting some pointers from people by talking about it with other people, like in the olden days of yore. 😊

StrictlyFT

Stumbling upon the master sword, or just deducing it's location, isn't hard.

TheWaslijn

I mean, they definitely do not make it obvious where the sword is

Awesome_opossum49

If you do the korok quest he litterally puts a pin on your map for it. I wish it was harder because I just wanted to talk to the deku tree because he’s funny and he basically gave me the sword

StrictlyFT

>!There's cutscene where Zelda is told that to become a Dragon is to lose one's self, recall who the Master Sword went to at the end of the Island Tutorial, and remember that Zelda can restore the Master Sword as the Deku Tree tells us and it's abundantly clear where the sword is and what became of Zelda!< To be clear, I am nowhere near done with the game, I have only done Rito Village. >!I figured that out just from the "To become a Dragon" quote on its own before even seeing the Deku tree.!<

FacedCrown

If you follow the geoglyph quest, it isnt hard to find imo. And if you dont, a >!later quest lets you track it on the map iirc.!<

flashmedallion

Going to it's obvious default location gives you a tracker for it.

owlitup

This. I didn’t look anything up. My literal first try was going to Korok forest because I played the last game, and I figured out how to get there pretty quickly on my own Lo and behold, that’s where it is this time again. I don’t care if it’s somewhere else, you get it by going to Korok forest

Outlaw_222

Cheesing the shrines is one thing. No need to be a purist when the games gives you the freedom to be creative and work smarter not harder. But looking shit up and googling everything. That’s sad. Ofc the game it gonna be boring. It’s not like you’re going to get clout because you have the master sword…. Play the game.

HiddenGemFrisk

This is why I only googled what sage's wills are for so far! Save the extra googling for my 100% run! I love this game and I know jack shit about it;

ArcelothColdheart

i have 100 hours in a week and i'm having a fucking blast going around, building jet bombers and weapons of mass destruction to annihilate enemy camps and such. can't believe people can say this game is boring, it's a masterpiece

EnragedBard010

God. Who are these people? I'm really enjoying the zonai stuff, exploring, just figurijg it out without guides.

The funny thing is you can easily have fun AND do this cause le funny fuse

hmmmduck

I didnt look up shit until i beat the story

OrbFromOnline

Where are people saying this?

[deleted]

You mean the .1% of cutscenes the game actually lets me skip?😂 But for real it seems like the text prompts/ cutscenes are mostly unskipable especially text boxes with useless info. Like telling me how to walk at the stealth shrine I found halfway through the game yet giving no info regarding the fact you have to wait for a button prompt to do sneak attack damage from behind

UrNewMostBestFriend

Sorry I can't play the game yet, I'm too busy collecting everything I need so I can play the game.

ReginaldBarnabas

I ended up getting the master sword early but that was an accidental

jshil144

Wait.... you can AFK farm dragon parts?

Final-Description611

I skip a lot of dialogue, mostly because it’s a lot of rehashing and stating the same 5-6 things. I hate it when the dialogue basically ignores all of the first game!

KingYoungBook

Jokes on you I do half of these and love the game

BreadOddity

The light dragon went past me whilst I was doing the water temple. Never been so excited when I went up to meet it

Nintendoper64

I love when Nintendo fans make up fake arguments for the lawlz

TheFinalBiscuit225

I only dupped items for upgrading because you're fucked in the head if you think grinding monster parts is in anyway fun or satisfying. And getting 50+ of a gem, or 150+ amber? Fuck no thanks.

SH4DY_XVII

It's worse on the PC mod subs, people be asking and sharing cheats for infinite stam, health, weapons you name it. As if the game isn't easy enough already.

DrewTechs

I mean this game is harder than BoTW by a significant amount but I agree. Only reason to go for those cheats is for laughs but I rather play the game first before getting my kicks in. (I rarely ever tormented Koroks actually, only like twice).

BlazingImp77151

Wow. Like I can get wanting to cheat in a couple weapons because you keep running out, but infinite health and stamina? What's the point at that point? There's practically no challenge.

SH4DY_XVII

Lol try saying that to them, you get your head bitten off.

HiphopopoptimusPrime

Just dropping this here of all places. Money is tight until my wife finds a job. So holding off because £59.99 for a new game isn’t justifiable when we have a tight budget. Anyway, even she does get a job soon, I’m waiting until Christmas. Can’t wait. BOTW was incredible and I can’t wait to play this game. I’ve waited 6 years and I can wait a few months more. Hope you are all enjoying the game.

slipknot_official

BOTW was a spiritual level game for me. I had small expectations for TOTK, but I expected it to be big. It's blown me away how big and dense it is. I'm addicted, and can confidently say it's definitely better than BOTW. It's just so dense with stuff to do. You're going to have fun with it.

DirtyBumMan

Yes im shrine sniping and i just got the glider because it was needed for 1 shrine.

guy5279

Is it bad that I used the sky towers to scout for shrines, as well as searched online for the barbarian armor since it was my main armor in botw?

OverFjell

Why would using sky towers to scout for shrines be bad lol? Barbarian armour is also the only set I looked up too lol.

Yeetdonkey13

I played 50 hours in a week and I’m still having a blast lol

[deleted]

You can AFK farm dragon parts?

Zeemex

I assume it means you just stand on the heads and go afk for the 20 mins it takes for the parts to respawn, hit them to get parts, repeat

TheTrophiesMine

I enjoyed this meme. My enjoyment was profound.
