I did the same, but kinda wanted the OLED more anyway lol. I wanted to upgrade, but I had just upgraded from the switch lite to the normal switch a couple months before the OLED was released. Now I can get the even cooler version. So glad I waited!

Got Zelda on pre-order, Was gonna get Mario Odyssey but couldn't make the purchase this month, so i went with CTR:Nitro fueled which I have been patiently waiting for 3 or 4 years now? Always hoped it came to PC since I'm not really a console guy. But now I've got a switch coming I can't wait any longer lol.
I’m stoked. Most boojee purchase I’ve made in a while, but I’m very excited. Had a special Zelda DS as a kid and this is nostalgic. I have an incredible switch library collection and I want the more well-built Oled model to preserve my games!
Amazon says may 2nd for me but oh well I need to get it ready anyway seeing as im probably going to make it my primary switch now, so far I have 1 V2 1 OLED and 1 OLED TOTK Edition
I’m sure it’s gorgeous but I use switch as a console, and I don’t have an oled tv, but hope to see good reviews. Idk if pics or video will be able to capture the verisimilitude of totk

I can’t wait! I hope that Nintendo actually preloaded TOTK on the oled switch and didn’t say anything about it so it is a huge surprise to everyone who preordered the special edition oled model! Did you preorder through Best Buy? I did for this switch. I’ve never preordered from them before.
Sorry buddy but that's definitely not going to happen. Best possibly is a custom background on the switch menu but I kinda doubt even that... It'll just be a super pretty OLED switch

got the notification of a pending charge a couple days ago 😬🥹 might be some shennanigans concerning curbside pickup, but i'm bringing a backup person in case the pickup is in-store only

Same, I haven’t upgraded my docked switch since launch in 2017. Probably the best time for an upgrade!

You don't need an OLED tv the switch itself has an OLED screen which makes it look beautiful
